Your videos remind us that we are a great country!!! And your kids are the EXACT right age to make a trip like this!!!! Enjoy!!!
You guys make me smile! So happy and enjoying each other so much. Welcome to the US. I hope your trip is enjoyable and you see only the good things the US has to offer. God bless you all!
Would dearly love to have you folks come and visit the Appalachian mountains. Us folks are known as "Hillbillies" because we ..... Live in the hills! But dude we honestly are self sufficient, have the absolute best food, fun and hospitality!! I think that your family would have so much fun spending a good evening with us enjoying our food, take a break and sit on the front porch with folks while enjoying a cold glass of sweet iced tea or lemonade, take a chew of tobacco and listen to mountain folk lore that has been handed down for decades.
We would love to have you visit with us!
You guys are such an adorable family. Such a positive attitude and fun loving ❤️
Officially booking my trip to NZ while watching this video
Won't lie, that was my first reaction to driving in Japan. "WHERE'S THE TURN SIGNAL?!" My shipmate was no help and he'd been there longer than me lol. Another aspect is the weather. I grew up in Orange County and that looks like weather we experienced when I was a kid. Congratulations, you've officially experienced an El Nińo season.
Proud of little bro facing his fears on the coaster 🔥
and that has to be one of the tamest coasters in the country too. but i grew up at cedar point, Ohios only redeeming qualities in the summer.
I love all of this - so cool to see you all spending quality time together in a really cool place experiencing something you've always wanted to. My favorite part was Denzel: "We've been in New Zealand for SO long... (pause) AND THIS WAS JUST SITTING HERE!?" I was laughing so hard
I've only been to San Diego but I loved it there. It's cool to see all the US Naval ships sailing by. Looks like you guys enjoyed the tour and Venice Beach.
It's beautiful to see your appreciation for my city and my country in general. There's too many ingrates living here.
You guys are what most families strive to be like your family rocks welcome to the states and have a blast
It was ALL fantastic, but Nadine's Chewbacca impression is the highlight for me. I'd like her to repeat that on all videos going forward. :) Thanks for sharing your trip!
You guys forgot to go to the Seqoia National Park! The trees are the size of buildings!!
That tour guide is the bomb. Best tour guide ever.
Born and raised in LA, but now live in San Diego, so nice to see it from your perspective. I am always trying to talk my husband into leaving California but I do LOVE LOVE the geography and weather in this state. You have a beautiful family. Thank you for these videos.
What a great family for this - not only the adults (who do a fantastic job) but your kids are such good sports - they're at an age where they could be shy or difficult on video but they really get into the spirit of these videos. Subscribed.
Watching everyone freaking out about driving on the “wrong side” reminds me of when my family went to Ireland last year. Driving on the right side of the car took every ounce of concentration for me. Great video.
I’ve been waiting for this one! I am so glad you visited my hometown of Los Angeles! It’s a really beautiful, and culturally rich place, and i’m glad I grew up here. Of course, it’s not perfect, but no place is :) I love you guys ❤❤❤
Yeah no place is perfect but California is beyond messed up now a days.
Please stay in California! It's the best place ever, according to you.
Thank you for taking us along. I don't know if these videos of your American trip became taxing, but I am glued to the screen to see some places that I will never be able to go to & experience. Enjoying your reactions to all as well. Main happiness is that you arrived home safely!😊
@@elainesrottenbottom296 stay bitter hater 😂😂😂
@@dabbadoo2226if everyone is moving out why am i still stuck in traffic?
Ive lived in LA my entire life so every time you guys experience culture shock I’m like “but that’s normal”
I'd love to visit Cali but nope, it's gotten insane and I'm glad I'm on the east coast
That was my thought too lol
30yr+ Los Angeles vet checking in. Your family is adorable. Wish I'd gotten the chance to chime in while you were here... lotta off the menu stuff available here in LA. 😁 So sorry you hit during the rain: This weather happens once every 20yrs. It also snows at roughly the same frequency. Hope you enjoyed your time here!
You buggers have some great parents And you dear parents are a true American family tradition in the making congratulations on your endeavors❣️
I grew up in L.A. I wish you guys could see what it used to be. I left 12 years ago, and It’s nothing like the place I grew up in now. I have so many good memories, but I could never live there again. It’s so sad to see what it’s become. I remember Disneyland being such a magical place, there was always something fun to do, and I could walk around the city as a teenager without a worry. It used to be green too, which it hasn’t been for many years. I got engaged to my wife on Venice beach, about where you guys were standing. I wish my kids could have had the same experience I did…
Preach! I was SO lucky to get to visit LA in 2012, before it changed so drastically!
I was waaay more into the surrounding areas, and not the city itself.
Santa Susannah Park, The Knolls, Corriganville Park in Simi Valley were mind blowing experiences to someone from flatlands desert Texas.
Ok Grandpa, here's your jello cup.
@@movieswithmatticus5469 you must be 12 if you think I’m old
@@TK-hw2ph I'm actually 6 months old.
@@movieswithmatticus5469lmao right he’s so dramatic
Hate to tell you this but you’re still not in the USA! You’re just n California!! Keep driving east but not too far east!!
Give it a rest
Hate to tell you this but California is in the USA and if it wasn't everyone else would be screwed.
@@movieswithmatticus5469 Californians are the only people that consider California “part of the U.S. ”. The rest of us consider it “Northern Tijuana”. You might be surprised by how little the rest of the country cares about the west coast
@@TK-hw2ph You all seem to think California is part of the US when you cash the checks we send your way every year.
@@movieswithmatticus5469 California is bankrupt, and its industry is rapidly dying, stop pretending the rest of the country needs it.
San Bernardino county is the largest in California. It stretches all the way to California/Nevada state lines
I just want to thank mom and dad for letting the kids see all these new places because growing up i always wanted to go out and visit different places with my family but unfortunately we were poor and couldnt afford much so thank you for that
I’m so happy you guys got to visit Los Angeles, California. My home town. I hope you guys had a good time.
Always nice to see vlogs like these seeing people enjoy something ive grown so used to, makes me see America in a new light sometimes.
So many things we take for granted, seen through the amazed eyes of first-time visitors. Wonderful. Thank you!
They are all so cute, so grateful to you Lee and Team Asher! Question; Lee it would really be appreciated if you would consider using full screen, you can even on a cell phone!
Thank you for all you do.🐕🐶🐕🦺💕👍
Im 60 never married no kids..im from LA...ive called hawaii home for 35 years.
I have always wanted to visit new zealand.at times in my life i have felt that my soulmate is either there ....or..tasmania...the people seem so friendly and down to earth from that corner of our earth.
Im watching you discover santa monica as i type ..i grew up about 20 miles away but very near to the bikepath that runs the lenth of santa monica bay .. a ton of great memories growing up there.i tell people....LA is a great place to be from!!!
Can’t help but smile watching how excited yall are for this! Nice videos!
I lived in LA for almost 30years and moved to ohio ..
Stilll miss it.... But to expennsive .....,
I absolutely adore your family. I can not wait to watch all the rest of your videos from the USA!!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Thank you so much!! And we’re coming back in May, so lots more videos to come from that too 😊
I’ve lived in LA most of my life and seeing the entire family get excited over things I didn’t realize I take for granted really made my day
I can’t believe how he drove in LA. I’ve lived in the U.S. my entire life and would never drive in any big city. Well done!
that was great! Your cinematography skills have gone to a whole other level. great job.
Everywhere in America is unique. I'm from Michigan, and the natural wonders in this state are truly incredible. So much of America is untouched.
I've never been to California or Texas. You've experienced aspects of my country that I have not.
first time driving in the US and you started with Los Angeles...literally swimming with the sharks!! you did great, probably better than I would've done and I drive in Phoenix traffic every day! also...it's so RARE to find money 😆 glad you all had such a great experience!! you make me remember how great my country is and appreciate it more!!
Isn’t travel fun! I’m in my 50s but still get the same sense of excitement that you showed here when I go to new places! So fun seeing your wonder and joy at seeing America!
Four legends in LA...what?!? So very glad you made it; can't wait to see the rest of your vlogs and videos. Cheers!
I want to see New Zealand . Thats a prime spot to film movies with beautiful scenery .Looks amazing
My favorite part is how amazed you guys were for the ice room lol
Your video actually made me emotional to see your family enjoying themselves in my home city. A city that is dying the joy that you were experiencing reminded myself of the joy I had as a child in the city when it was still a wonderful place to be.
I grew up in Texas and lived in LA for 5 years, i feel like i got the best of both worlds
This video was great! I'm from St. Louis, Missouri and have never been to LA, you showed alot of cool spots! I'd make the trip just for the tour guide, he sounded like a good time! I love the content your family puts out and welcome to the States!
I love how the tour guide kept it real. I was scared you'd be a bit shell shocked in LA. That's a tough spot to have your first American experience. Should check out Cape cod, or Martha's vineyard, White Mountains for camping. The Dakotas, there's alot of beauty to see in our country. Hope you come back some day and get a chance to experience some of the nature. Glad you had fun ❤
It's so fun to watch people when they first come to LA and their reactions to it all. Living here and frequenting the places you all visited on a regular basis was truly a treat. I never think of The Grove or Griffith Observatory in those ways. And bravo to you for tackling LA freeways. I drive them every day and they still scare me.
You were so brave to take on the 5 from LAX!!! Also, ice machines tend to be in separate rooms because they are so noisy. We had friends from NZ (south island) who got on the freeway by mistake and had quite an adventure. They finally got off in Mission Viejo and called.
As someone who lives in LA, its funny to see you all walking around places I go to all the time.
good job, parents! so happy you got to experience this with your kids... something they will carry with them for the rest of their lives! Happy memories!
Thank you for bringing us along.
It brings back great memories of my family going to Hollywood when my children were about the same age as yours.
We had so much fun. ❤❤❤😊
Thanks for visiting and safe travels. I hope this reaches you and those you love in great health and happiness❤️🙏
