- After SO much distractions and life and games and other stuff. FINALLY we have finished the first of our Primal-Rage battle series.
Just like Killer Instinct, Primal Rage was one of our most influential childhood games. We love making obvious tributes to those games we enjoyed in our lives. and in our case Primal Rage has been needing one from us for awhile now.
Primal Rage is uniqe for the fact that instead of humans it's all prehistoric monstrous gods battling it out to control the warped world now known as Urth instead of "Earth" for some reason.
If they ever make a new Primal Rage, I hope it's not those freaking avatars. The battle should be decided between the gods.
At any rate we hipe you all enjoy it as much as we did.

Back when I was a little kid, my grandma would pick me up after school and sometimes, take me out to eat. Dairy Queen had a arcade Primal Rage, I would go there just for the game. Always played Armadon or Vertigo. Childhood memories

It's actually Canon that Sauron beats everyone and conquers the planet. Check out his ending in Primal Rage 2. He's gotta be the most bad ass T-Rex and embodiment of the God of hunger ever.
How do you know for sure it’s canon? All characters have their own endings

Wow!! Those were some fantastic models and wonderful animation, in facet everything about this was awesome!
It would have been an interesting thing to see where battles lead if some of them ended in a draw.

Wow, I loved that! nice work! I loved the conflict and the reason for the fight being prolonged. Great animation and detail with their movements and characteristics as well.
A somewhat similar formula we were following with our Killer Instinct animations :> also thanks we were trying to mix some dinosaur movement with the way the characters moved in the game.
I really love these fight animations. Loved Primal Rage so these are a great homage.

If only there was a Primal Rage reboot or a movie adaptation. For the movie adaptation it should feature:

and a few more new monsters.
Post credits should introduce Typhon or Abaddon(Gotta throw in some mythological dieties).

Wow! congradulations dude! I hope your marriage goes well! My life's been alright, last year was pretty good, but this year started with some shit, the only good January had was my older brother sold me is PS4 but that's about all I can say that's good about January, the rest of the months this year have been better by comparison.
As for music: my favorites from the soundtrack of Primal Rage is Diablo's theme, I see so much potential in it lol and Sauron's theme as well lol.

This needs to make a comeback it's Mortal Kombat but with Dinosaurs DINOSAURS
After watching this animation, all I can say is, WOW! IMO, this is exactly how a Primal Rage reboot should be, beautifully 3D rendered characters and stages, all while retaining the classic 2D gameplay with modern improvements, destructible environments, and battle-damage system for the characters (scars, blood, etc.)! Keep up the good work!
(P.S.: I remember there was a teaser for a Rise of the Robots animation. Is that being still worked on?)

Yeah we still got plans in the future to do a Rise of the Robots series. We just have to get our stuff straight. For now it's Primal Rage.

I couldn't tell you to be honest, the reason the characters move like this is akin to the original Primal Rage Games, plus they're gods so they can do things no normal dino can do :>

Did you intend for this to look like a full motion video from the PS1 era? Because I swear that if the framerate was lower it would be PERFECT! I would pay to play a game like this! Game devs, please bring back Primal Rage so that people like me can see why people loved it so much!

Your take on Primal Rage battles is super fun! I love the animation! Though, I wonder where are the tribes praising the god-dinos? Are they too tricky to animate, or did you just want to focus on the fighting? Either way, fantastic job!

Hell yeah I could behind that! like a spinosaur that'd be a god of war or a creature who represents giant insects from the carboniferous period or a beast that's like a mix of a Dunkleosteus and mosa hybrid to represent a water god.

Awesome animation! I have always wanted to animate dinosaurs but my teacher said it was impossible! This looks so great!!! I have probably asked this before, but what software do you guys use to animate?
+Slippery Pancake Thanks : ). It's not impossible to animate dinosaurs. Look at games like Primal Carnage for example. Which do a pretty good job at animating them. Is it simple? of course not. But anyone can animate anything with practice.
As for software I use 3Dsmax to animate and rig the characters. But all the models were developed by my brother in Z-brush.

what did you make the models blender?
My brother sculpted them in Z-brush,and I rigged and did the animations in 3Dsmax. Alternatively we can make models in Max Z-brush is just preferred.
