YES! I was just thinking about doing the same thing for my G34. You beat me to it. PLEASE keep working on this. I want tgis without dropping the $3K on a B&T. PLEASE PLEASE continue with this
Testing will be the fun part. We'll see if that front piece breaks quickly, but it's not really under too much stress as the dual rear screws really keep it all locked in place, but we'll see!
You should definitely make sure it can fit a PSA Dagger as well. For some reason its hard to find chasis specificly for them or that you dont need a glock slide for
I was hoping you'd show us how the beaver tail when folded could also be used as a forward brace to fire the pistol that way and then when the tails deployed its a 2nd way to be used
It would be cool to see a printed Glock lower with a VSS style printed stock. Perhaps with a folding mechanism on the two horizontal sections. And some of that Velcro strap so it’s a brace.
Would it be possible to move the top rail forward and remove the brace to turn it into a cheek pistol? I guess you'll need to find a way to side-charge it
Can you make a smg frame design for the glock, ive seen designs made by company’s that fit like a glove, then you can make an assault weapon from a hand pistol. Changing barrels etc.
You Designed, Created & Printed That Out on 3D Printer? Wow !!! Wow !!! Amazing !!! Looks Very, Very Nice & Clean Design... What's in front underneath in front of trigger... Laser Light? Or Just Light? Thanks for sharing...
Yep, I believe Gen 1 and 2 slides and barrels work on Gen 3 frames. Since you’re printing the frame, you should be able to just throw the Gen 1/2 slide assembly on there.
@@booliganshootingsports Thanks for the reply I don’t check my notifications thats a good point, i meant is this “kit” compat with plain jane gen one and two 17/19
Yep, the Glock 19X and Glock 45 both are the same compact slide/full grip format. The biggest differences are with the generation and colors, plus a few options are different with each platform. I refer to this as a G19X because it uses all Gen 3 G19 parts, no G45 parts will work on it since that’s a Gen 5 model.
I'm almost done with my USW v2 At Home build. Just need to get a red dot on it... Question, how do you get your brace to snap like that like you did in the video? I have to push up on the brace and extend it out, lol but snapping it back like you did makes it look cool. I want to do that.
@@booliganshootingsports Awesome! I also printed that brace mount horizontally, with the flaps suspended in the air via support material. Eek, I hope it's still good to go!
That looks amazing, but where on the actual firearm do you actuate the slide? It looks like the only realestate for that is near the front, and that's a good way to Zip-22 yourself.
What is the best type of filament to use on projects like these? I love sports shooting with the family and I’d like to come up with cool projects for me and my sons. I’d also like to be at ease that they won’t blow up in their hands!?!?
@@booliganshootingsports why not? it's a 1:1 licensed Glock unlike other airsoft clones. I've also seen other Glock braces that fit airsoft models, and even the ones that don't can usually be fitted with slight modifications. what parts are your brace fitted to?
@@Wuqz this isn’t fitted to a factory frame. The frame itself is printed and is completely redesigned to fit the entire brace and optic mount. And the actual firearm frame won’t fit any of the airsoft components inside since they operate in completely different ways. So unless you completely redesign the entire thing to work with airsoft components, it won’t work. Watch my full video on this design to see what all is printed.
I like yours Edit: I had to beef up the lower trigger guard connection to the grip to keep pla+ from cracking when shoulderd. Im curious to see how yours does.
I was thinking about someone making and printinh a traditional Mac 10 design, over a Glock 17/19. Is this even possible? It would look like a traditional Mac, but just be a Glock underneath
