I don’t know if it’s everyone or just me but when I try to put a slab down it won’t let me put it down in a straight line , I have to put it down one by one

Hi DaFade, I think I know what you're talkin about, say if you put a sandstone slab on top of a sandstone slab you would have to place the slab one by one, but if you put a sandstone slab on top of a sandstone full block you can place that slab very fast or in a straight line.
