I agree with you saying Erik lost some confidence but C Rossi literally has no understanding of flow. Erik Devine doesn't rhyme with shit all the time. Time and vine is something a primary school kid would say rhymes.
They aren't even good 1 syllable rhymes which for me you shouldn't even do 1s. It's too easy.
It's not a confidence story show, you're allowed to enjoy that but it's called a rap battle. Rapping is about rhyming and C Rossi is still very amateur. They both have a lot of room for growth. C Rossi needs to learn how to write. Erik needs to work on his stage presence.
Who says you need to rhyme perfectly or have a flow that certain people think is correct, it’s all a bit of fun and I’ve only heard good things about my performance especially on the night when it was actually witnessed, what makes it a good battle is 2 people got up on stage, put their best foot forward and got awesome reactions from the crowd. We all know that’s what battling is👊

Just listening to people who tell you you're great and don't need to improve won't help you get better though.
I agree it is all fun but it's still a battle. Part of it is competitive and people are going to compare what you did to the opponent.
