I sure wish you grabbed that Bigsby Twang Bar, even if it was with your pinky finger to hear what it sounds like on that axe in particular and whether or not it'd knock the tuning outta whack? It was there, how come you didn't use it, mate! Never let a Tele with a Bigsby Twang Bar attached go unused. Damn! Just sayin!😊
Really interesting tones out of this thing, sounds like a plugged-in acoustic on the neck and way angrier on the bridge than I'm used to out of a Tele. Not that either is a bad thing, just not what I was expecting.
When that first chord rings out the sound and anticipation of Jeff Buckley!!! Gotta love Tele Tuesdays if there’s a chance of getting to hear and see Lemmo play Buckley! 🤘🎸
One or two of Lemmo's riffs at the end reminded me of the second guitar solo from "Lovers in the Nighr" from *Toto IV.* Although, Steve Lukather couldn't have taken those solos on a Telecaster equipped with a Bigsby; his whammy "strokes" were wider than the Bigsby could give.
Always enjoy your videos guys... Absolutely LOVE Norm, he is a great guy, had a lot of young players starting out gave them a platform, and they were good. One of my Favs, many - But i really like Colt Clark and quarantine kids.. So did Marty Stewart as well/ , Also Norm's Charity work as well, just a great, although i have never shook his hand, if i ever get out to CA, definitely stop by fo sho! :) Keep the vids coming, enjoy your playing Michael, and the camera personnel, i think her name is Jen i forget. Seen here there for good while. from SE Texas Bear
I installed a bigsby on my tele and I cannot keep it in tune. It just never returns to pitch and I’ve tried everything. I’ve installed plenty of bigsbys on other guitars and no issues, for some reason it’s just the tele. My last resort is going to be swapping out the barrel saddles to the roller type. I also install those on strays and they work flawlessly.
had the same problem, tried EVERYTHING (usually the nut is the culprit) - finally got it with the last possible thing : the roller on the Bigsby that the strings pass under wasn't rolling freely - removed & replaced - problem solved, now a very cool Bigsby Tele 😎
@royosborne849 Hey there, Knoxville! Do you happen to know one of my favorite RUclipsrs who has a Channel from your neck 'o the woods? Good ol Boy, "Tennessee Brando"? He's a good man, who loves to promote your home town of Knoxville.
Hey what's the serial number you guys should tell the serial numbers of these old-time guitars in my opinion I've watched numerous videos and you never put the serial number for people like me who want to know about the fenders legacy and the serial numbers you f****** really failed. I mean what is the big deal is it a f****** secret
This guy basically gives us a free guitar concert every day.
And a lesson on using a looper.
Bigsby equipped Tele’s, especially Paisley & flower finished models were all the rage in the late ‘60’s/early ‘70’s. Played to death.
Beautiful guitar! Sounds great, as always Michael! Great camera work by Scarlet!
Very lovely vibe from that guitar.

Usually not a Fender guy myself, but this guitar sounds very good.
This tele definitely has some mojo tone
That bridge pickup really nails that Page stuff

Hell yeah Lemmo !!! I'd love to own that Tele !!

69 my year! Love it! Great tone Mike!
Never seen a Tele with a Bigsby. Looks great
I had a very similar 69 Tele but it weighed a ton… so I took the neck and electronics and put them on a lighter body. Great neck.
I just played it today. This one is surprisingly light for a Bigsby Tele. Definitely NOTa boat anchor!
great guitar!.........wish you could add it to your collection.....Thanks Michael

Sweet, Michael! Are those Fender pickups?
1:52 what's with this body seam?! Was that common on the lower horn at the time?
That eagles was my favorite. Did he turn something on or off just before that song ? That guitar sounded amazing on that.
He switched to the bridge pickup only 😊
Tremendo 🇯🇪🇯🇪🇯🇪
stylish guitar shredding
Jeff Buckley on a tele always a good fit...looking forward, i ll be around the LA area in Mai and will stop by 4 sure !!!!
Thanks for the Jeff Buckley moment, Michael! Next time you have a 12 string on GOTD, maybe you could play a bit of Vancouver? Ya know ya wanna..❤
I have an Am Standard with a B5 Bigsby but use a Vibramate adapter. Mine has a string spoiler and Graph-tech String Saver saddles.
No holes drilled.
Sweet guitar
I miss you Jen !!! When are you coming back ? Soon I hope !!!
Sublime Jeff Buckley chords. Really dreamy.
Lemmo is great. Thank you.

Big Radiohead vibes from the first song
Everyone knows that Tele’s with Bigsby’s are bad luck. Don’t they? 😂
Lemmo the Looper 😁
