@Kyodaiya Varg is an old northern name for wolf ;) tolkien only called his "wolves" Varge, so it has actually nothing to do with LotR ;) of course tolkien was mainly inspired by northern mythology and has adopted many names or ideas for places, figures, etc.
@ZombieWolfPack122890
Haha yeah, Minas Morgul & Dimmu Borgir... It sounds like a lot of Black Metal bands love their Lord of The Rings films.
really good !!

@xSwampKalmah I would've said minas morgul and GORGOROTH, and they love their lotr books, not neccasarily films. Damn good series.
@xSwampKalmah
Well, Dimmu Borgir is named after a volcanic formation in Iceland, Dimmuborgir.
@ZombieWolfPack122890
The name Dimmu Borgir actually has nothing to do with LotR.
It's a place in Iceland.
@DARKSIMYoda Yes but the name of the singer Shagrath is from the lord of the ring.
@xSwampKalmah Oh yeah haha Gorgorth, Burzum, Isengard
That bass simply tore me a new asshole!
@DARKSIMYoda gorgoroth is a place into mordor.
films? pfft books dude! books!,movies weren't out when these bands were formed...
@hjoermungand also in swedish :)
@xSwampKalmah oh yeah, and amon amarth
@Kyodaiya gorgoroth*
@DARKSIMYoda
But Amon Amarth is a Lord of the Rings name.
I thought Dimmu Borgir meant 'Dark Castle'
Although, it's beside the point, there's a German band called Morgoth.
Morgoth was a character in Silmarillion.
Tolkien has given too much to metal !
not bad
@balzac617 Gorgoroth*
Shagrat is the name of an orc
