Sir, I have a question. Does the January exam makes sense doing. Reason being is that my mom thinks that it does and I don't share those same views. And she is saying if it didn't make sense people would not have done it. So what do you think?

Yes it makes sense... it's like a dry run. And sometimes if you get a good grade you can focus stronger on other subjects.
