Tommy Kendall and Dan Binks IMSA Mazda RX-7 Reunion

Sports car champion Tommy Kendall and his former chief mechanic Dan Binks reunited at Laguna Seca in Monterey in August of 2019 to run the IMSA Mazda RX-7 GTU entry for the first time since winning championships together in the 1980s.
Tears were shed in the funny and emotional visit to The Marshall Pruett Podcast as two titans of motor racing share stories from IMSA's golden era.

Loved the video. Before I was a rotard I grew up watching Tommy Kendall in the Transam series. I ran into Tommy a few times before the start of the 24hr Daytona race and he has always been a down to earth guy. Tommy Kendall one hell of a guy and one hell of a driver.

Thanks for sharing this interview. I remember watching Tommy, especially the Toyota GTP cars. I loved his no nonsense, truthful, honest commentary in the broadcast booth. My cousin has a channel, Begin Again, discussing getting back in the seat and whether the muscle memory is retained.
