Out of curiousity what makes it meta gamey? doesn't really seem like it to me. It makes perfect sense in game that if 1 person kills someone in a group of 4 and you report quickly that the other alive person is also an imposter.

Subaru and Botan clicked their respective buttons at nearly the same time(with Subaru misclicking). But Botan needed to see to what was happening, process it, and then press the report button. So her reaction is pretty lightning fast. But since her content contains a lot of fast paced FPS, this is really to be expected.

Sadly, all of them got disconnected a little bit after the meeting started. So Subaru technically didn't get voted but everyone was going to vote for her anyway.

As far as i see, Hologirls been improved in AmongUs gameplay. Miko is at the stage where she actually trying to do get the double kill with shuba. Korone also getting sharper at deceiving people when she becomes imposter. There's also Rushia who's able to keep calm when Botan got killed in front of her by fubuki.
On the failed double, they needed to adapt and play off one of the impostors as doing their task and being unaware of what happened. Since neither of them were throwing sus on each other, it gave away that both were in on it. Although TBH, with that pairing, even if they save one of the impostors, the sus would still be on them and they would remain under increased scrutiny(although Botan would similarly be under sus for being possibly an impostor as well). The level of mind games can run deep, but the way it played out is either Botan pulling a 5000IQ impostor god play(which, while she's a sharp one, she has her tells and would be highly unlikely to pull something quite that audacious), or a failed impostor double kill and she's selling her accomplice out immediately(also unlikely as Botan is more the type to try to throw sus on the failed victim than her partner in crime, at least until she's gone through the motions and realized there's no saving them, again, sharp, but not quite ruthless/heartless enough-although I'm not entirely sure any of the hologirls who're ruthless enough to pull that trick is also quite so sharp enough to come up with it on the spot, there are a few potential candidates, but they also tend to be a bit ponkotsu in the heat of the moment).

I feel like that's more of a misclick from Subaru than it is a fast reaction from Botan but it's still impressive.
Yeah, by the looks of it Subaru wasn't ready when Miko made the kill which is what gave Botan the chance to report it.
You can even see the Kill button greyed out so Subaru probably wasn't ready even though she was expecting to do the double kill.
