It truly is a masterpiece and stepping foot to a place called "Heinola Disc Golf Park World" and seeing the starting area is always incredible! Happy you got to experience it with Avery as well ;D

      Finnish Prodigy Pro Tour is played there every year and there is footage from that event every year.
      In 2021 masters Finnish championship was held there and that was covered too.
      Nikko made a video as well when he was still with Clash discs.
      There people making other videos on this course every year so multiple videos per year. There are not many courses that have more coverage than this course.
      Pro tour layout is slightly different than this normal pro layout.

    they have obviously cleared the underbrush out of the rough there, it doesn't grow quite as fast up here in scandinavia as it does in the US but if they didn't put in some serious work it would be quite nasty and definately not quite as enjoyable to play. My guess is they cut down all the new birch saplings at least every other year, maybe every year.

      @@Alexandros.Mograineyou couldn't be more wrong. every drinker is an alcoholic? not true. every stoner is lazy? not true. there's alot of stoners in finland and most of them are people who has a job, friends and hobbies just as the next guy has. they just like to smoke a joint instead of drinking beer after work or during weekends. i've met a lot of stoners in disc golf courses here, couldn't be more friendly people. most of the drunks aren't that friendly. the stereotype is just that, a stereotype. if more people would change alcohol to cannabis, world would be so much better place. i'm willing to bet that someone in your life be it a colleague or friend, smokes but they aren't and never will be comfortable sharing that with you because of your ancient world view. they usually just keep it to themselves in any case, they don't hurt anybody. weed doesn't make anybody lazy, you either are or aren't lazy. just so tired of this stupid, untrue stereotype. weed is so much better than alcohol, and stoners are the last people who wants any harm to anybody. alcohol can make anyone a raging monkey. which one is better? only honest answers.

    I think it is somewhat of a joke how quickly uDISC all of a sudden became the gate keeper for what courses are the best/ratings. Literally courses here in Florida that are straight TRASH that will get 4 stars by a bunch of newbies who have only played like 3 courses their entire lives. Meanwhile, a championship level course will get like 4.5 stars. I'm not saying that this course isn't the best in Finland. My gripe is how uDISC is so skewed and should not be the end all be all. Every one should be able to leave a WRITTEN review but uDISC needs to make it so that you have had to play at LEAST 20 courses before you can leave a star rating.

    • @caseywhite4
      @caseywhite4  Год назад +7

      I agree that ratings on UDisc have become pretty unreliable, but that’s why they created the top 100 rankings list to better evaluate the quality.

      Amen 🙌

    • @TheAeroRising
      @TheAeroRising Год назад +1

      @@caseywhite4 that’s cool but there are thousands and THOUSANDS of courses. I think it’s safe to say if a course makes the Top 100 in the World, it’s going to be good. However, the other thousands of courses that the every day player has to play is where it all gets way too misleading. I showed up to a 4 star course once. No tee pads, no designation from where to tee from, no tee signs, 20ft wide “fairways” with huge fences on both sides for people’s yards. I know you have played Tom Brown in Tallahassee. It gets this great reputation as the best course in Florida and it’s NOT even the top 2 course in Tallahassee! It’s crazy.

    • @TheAeroRising
      @TheAeroRising Год назад

      @@Oikku_89 I don’t think it’s too much to at least say you have to play 10 courses and write reviews for 10 courses before being allowed to leave star rating.

    Easy way to convert meters to ft.
    m x 3 + (m / 3) = ft
    It’s not exact but usually within a few feet.
    Example 100m x 3 + (100/3)= 333 ft. The actual is 328.

    • @Falcon888
      @Falcon888 Год назад +3

      It might be easier for people to do meters times three then add 10% of that number. 100 x 3 = 300 plus 10% of that is 330. Also results in a close figure and 10% times anything is easy.
