- Beer is one of the oldest and most widespread drinks in the history of mankind. It has been an integral part of our culture and everyday life for over 10,000 years. It has always been a motor for innovation and progress. And vice versa, technical innovations have also changed beer. It will probably remain one of the most popular drinks of the world in the future.

The Horse Brass tavern on lower S.E. Belmont Street in Portland, Oregon was an early exploiter of that 1978 legislation. Originally limiting 'home-brewing' to 200 gallons per year per household adult, the taps at the Horse Brass constantly changed. In addition to the flavor-adventure, there was a satisfying counter-institutional vibe.
en el minuto 7 dices que la saliva contiene LEVADURA, debemos aclarar esto: La saliva humana contiene enzimas que degradan los almidones, por ejemplo AMILASAS. Te habla Ing. de alimentos especializado en fermentación. saludos
Wonderful introduction
China's position in present-day beer culture surprises me. Given the artisanal potential, a focused voyage of discovery seems enticing.
Et la strong beer qui fait entre 8 et 10°😊
I hate these so-called "documentaries" that are filled with inaccuracies.
hops is absolutely horrible for the health of humans
Personally, I can't stand the taste of beer - nor any other alcoholic beverage either. Never liked the taste. Still can't figure out what it is that is appealing to those who do enjoy it. And even the idea that my brain is being affected in a negative way that impedes my ability to be in control of my actions and choices is unacceptable to me.
But I enjoy history and learning from a variety of sources about human history in particular. So, this was fun!

I did notice that, in contrast to other vids on this channel, this one has the narrator using a clearly British accent. Many of the other videos I've watched from this channel have British experts, but American narration.
I'm guessing that this is a British television production that had the narration re-done to export to the US audience. Much like when the US show "Mythbusters" got shipped abroad, they changed the narration to a more comfortable voice for the locals there.
But the original narrator's voice in the MB series was as much a character in the show as the main cast. So it was rather off-putting to try to watch the vids on utoob.
I wonder if British folks, familiar with this show, watching it here, have the same feeling hearing a 'wrong' narration compared to what they're used to having watched the original version. 🙂
its just so yummy imo, but good for youuu!

Lots of people enjoy beer and other 'beverages' quite a bit. And that's great.
It's just never been a drink I want.
As a skilled chef of many different influences, I do use beer or wine (as needed) in certain dishes that just are not right without it.
And again, I really enjoyed this video, and others of this series as well.
Have fun. 🙂
Who?
So much wrong info in here. Yes that's right, I'm an expert
So much false information.
