@@krisrock4589 I read the manga if it was the case and domain expansion of Hanami was sucessfull. Gojo would go in like Megumi and expand his Domain again, wins and saves them. But if not Todo can create a simple domain and Yuji doesnt need to care bc he has Sukuna armor.

I don't think that really says anything about their durability. Purple just erases matter, so I don't think physical toughness can really block it. I'd say it just means Toji and Hanami managed to dodge to the same extent, and Hanami survived while Toji didn't because it doesn't have a human physiology and vital organs.

Hanami barely made it out alive, and she still had the upper hand to flee (she didn't even take the full attack). Because besides the fact that she was about to leave the place, the distance Hollow Purple had to travel benefited her. As for Toji, as I recall, he took that attack almost point-blank.

@@mhmdshyf1609 You are right on being confused because that's one of the weakest points of the series his powerscalling literally makes no sense, taking in consideration how powerfull Hanami was it makes NO SENSE that Yuji and Toudou were able to even keep up with it like Toudou is a first grade sure but the fact that he can fight special grades makes no sense and with Yuji is even more nonsense because he isn't even a first grade but somehow he is able to fight special grades as well.
But just to be clear if any of them were to fight Hanami on 1vs1 they would have been stomped, like Yuji literally never won a 1vs1 fight even in the manga right now he never fought and won a 1vs1 he always gets help from someone else.

sorry for the super delayed response but Hanami is the most docile of the curse group. And it was explained in the show that she doesn't relish fighting just like Jogo and Mahito, but now she realized how fun it was, she finally showed her "curse" side by being violent and finding it fun.

Disaster grade curses are afforded a greater freedom than humans in the fact that they are near all powerful, can't be seen by normal humans, don't age, don't require sleep, and are nearly impossible to kill. Because they are essentially untouchable and don't need to rely on others for survival, they also have no need to lie or hold back how they feel for other's sake. People lie for these reasons because voicing opinions that are counter to what is agreed apon by the group or doing actions that are out of the norm ostracizes us. To avoid the pain caused by that, people lie to themselves and to others to fit in. In the case of hanami, he/she is one of the most powerful curses in the world, but up until this point hanami has been very polite and respectful of everyone around her and even going as far as to hide the extent of her power. Most people just wouldn't be able to see through this, but mahito has the ability to read and control the emotions produced by a person's soul, so he knew that she was holding back her true nature because of the stress it was putting on her soul, so to get her to be more true to her nature he told her about the joy he feels while he kills, lies, steals, and fights, so that she could realize this feeling in greater clarity when she had to fight the people at jujutsu tech, however, even though she felt great joy in her fight against todo and itadori, she still remained extremely polite and reserved towards her enemy, even though she is a superior lifeform to them. But after she was defeated and badly wounded she finally got angry at mahito for using his power to hold back her fury, so she finally told him to stop in a way that wasn't formal or polite. mahito was happy about this; because she was finally able to say how she felt without worrying about how that would affect others, and thus was acting more curse-like.
