I like seeing these funny little shops. It's also a good way for them to make a bit of money off unsold or discarded Kuji prizes and save them from going to the garbage.
there are a lot of shops in japan that sell old used, often unused, figures, kuji, arcade, and gacha prizes. they are pretty good about not wasting stuff there.
Interesting videos and nice mystery vending machines are fun but you have to be prepared for what you can get. It's worth going for two rounds which then you make your decision if it's worth it . Lots of love and blessings.
7:45 i got to do one of thoes on my trip to japan, i won twice, first one was a figure of megumi from jujutsu kaisen sitting on a chair, then i won promotinal items from different anime's and games.
I just got back from Japan and these stores or machines were everywhere. I tried 1 pokemon card machine , at 1000 yen, but like you got cards only worth 100yen!! big rip. i like seeing others play though.
i just got back from japan. round 1 seemed most generous, followed by taito game centers. but gigo seemed to be more of a rip off, with high payout rates. sadly i never got to try an everyday ufo catcher.
