His sets vary much depending on the venue. Listen to his 2023 amsterdam 3 hour set (look it up in oscar mulero’s fans group YB), it has a whole other dimension of vibe. Thing is that this venue demands a more hypermodern degenerative kind of sound; I mean, look at the screen and the people, That’s sort of the essence going on, and Mulero knows how to read it. But he does Not play only this “style”

for me something i will never forget, even if i only watched the whole video in on go (however on a proper sound setup), was Oscars Reaktor set + Stroberts Godlike Visual show. every track, every transition just felt so organic, so natural.... like breathing. Whole 2 hours are just nuts! Genius thing oscar did - he started and ended the set with the same track, its like u just went on a roundtrip. But u cant compare REAKTOR, which stands strong for techno in its purest forms IMO, to the most festivals or similiar. Then at Stone Techno 2023 he paired up with Ben Sims! known for his groovy pumping techno style it was the DJ combo i never thought i actually badly wanted. Its a 4 Hour set. first hour oscar, second ben sims and last 2 they do b2b.
Llevo escuchando a mulero como unos 35 años. Lo que me llama la atención es como se mueve la gente en sus sesiones, cualquiera que estuviese en aquel año y medio que duró The Ōmen, te diria que ponia patas arriba a la peña bailando. Pero también puede que fuese la calidad de las pirulas de aquellos años, están muertos, eso no es bailar.
I dont like it at all.. this music has no sense and i listened to him in Barcelona - Input. I want to give him a chance but i cant undestand his music.
It's not for everyone, that's cool. Personally as I got older I evolved from Trance into Progressive House and then into really appreciating Techno. I'd argue it does have sense, it's in the journey the rhythm and layering takes you on - Example : replacing the little hi-hat with that beat drop at 27:29 just makes me want to move, then subtly switching the hat back in at 28:26.... that's awesome.
In Spain there is a saying that says: honey is not even for the mouth of a donkey. I'm sorry, this music and the way you play it is fantastic for mentally traveling.
