Thanks for making this! Wanted to add that a good way to cull images is to go through and find the ones you *don't* want and press x. After you're done, you can press CMD/CTRL-DELETE and it will delete them.

Thank you for this video, it’s always nice to see how other sport photographer’s work. but I have a few questions. Why you import every photo when you say that DNG save hard drive space, I don’t get it, you don’t think it’s better to import only the photos your need. How do you work under a game, do you send photos to club or media?
I found Lightroom so slow to work with when you have to culling your photos. I rather use Photo Mechanic for speed and culling photos. And you can also import just the photos you have lock in your camera.
I don’t have time to do so much edit on the sideline. maybe cropping and some small adjustments before sending them of to my client. You don’t put the players name in metadata? how do you find your players at a later time?

All great questions! I was fortunate where my main focus was on one player, so my workflow was a little bit different. Most of my editing was done after the game and not in real time. I typically would import all the photos and delete the ones I didn't need after. I do know most of the editors and photographers turning around photos in real time during the game used Photo Mechanic.
