And personally set point is better for me because push shot cue is right before they release the ball and set point is when they hit their set shot it’s just slightly quicker and easier to time for me
@@luisrodriguez-ee1ldwell when you release is earlier but it doesn’t change the jumpshot or anything. Set point just doesn’t feel as consistent personally, but he should definitely turn shot feedback back on and just make it all shots, because I’m curious what they’re hitting as well.
Side note papa if you look at the comments. This has happened twice once this season and once last season when they hit a 3 at the end and go into OT. When you’re up 3 just foul let them hit the free throws and get the ball in and hit your free throws.

You need to start using the pick and fade by clicking rb when you’re calling for a screen so you can shoot more threes, will be good against off ballers as well because cpu normally leaves the screener open

@@jedisrc00lit’s because mmg is playing 2k like previous years where height mattered a shit ton + it was way more arcadey. He’ll get it eventually, but he still hasn’t figured out that 2k took a way more realistic approach on this game - the midrange jumpers.

I really think you should turn the shot meter on. Yes having it off gives a boost to the green window but, and I say this with all due respect, when your as ass at shooting as you are giving up that slight benefit and just using the shot meter is actually better. Also turning shot meter off is best when you’ve got a jumper down to T, like when using your myplayer and only using 1 jumper, playing with different people on myteam all the time makes it harder to perfect a jumper enough to not use shot meter imo.
skill issue with all due respect, but he should really turn the meter on if not shot feedback and sit down for a WHILE shooting different shots or even going into 2kU

Papa just a friendly pointer. When your opponent has the ball and is just dribbling in one spot not moving go on ball and reach. If it’s a player with good steal you have a high chance of ripping him. Your opponent was doing it with jrue Holiday in the first game.

I think you need to turn the shot feedback on again. Especially since you changed your visual cue (push instead of set point), it’ll help you with the players’ jump shots.
If someone is playing offball your strategy is great, don’t worry about trying to get more 3s. It is hard to get 3s when someone is offball’ing you, unless you can shoot the fader fr. If you stay in the gym and practice their release you will have way more confidence. You need to learn the players “que’s” on when to release the ball. You are only relying on ‘timing’ and the shooting mechanic isn’t based on just that anymore!

Hey pops, know how much you love backseat gamers but I think you might like this suggestion.
TL;DR - USE LAYUPS
It’s the year of the layup. Layups are great this year if yk what you’re doing. If you’re comparable to your matchup size-wise, holding right stick towards your defender while they’re at your side is a great way for a great animation. That’s just one kind, there’s so many to learn (floater, scoop, two step, hop step, spin etc.)
