Evacuation operations underway as Russian Orenburg region battles record floods

Images show flooded areas and emergency workers rescuing people from their homes in Russia's Orenburg Oblast, after the level of the Ural river rose to new record highs on Friday April 12. Critical flooding has forced the evacuation of tens of thousands of people in Russia and Kazakhstan, authorities said.
