In this video we are showing you how to remove and replace the tail light on a Honda Civic. It should be about the same for the sedan and the coupe. Unfortunately you will have to remove the rear bumper cover in order to replace the tail light.

This procedure should cover the Honda Civic Eight Generation from late 2005 to 2011.
You will not need any special tools for this job. We have the tools that we used explained in the video.

my tail light bracket posts broke off because of the rust and can’t go back on. will the screws on the tail light to the car itself be strong enough to hold?

I didn't have to remove the bumper. It was a pain to get the break light out but I did it.

Same lights. Just orange blinkers on 2010-11
