Well this is our hobby and outside of work, all we want to do is travel and see places, so this fills our holidays and weekends 😊 Thanks for watching 😊
A word to describe my feelings about this wonderful excursion: ELATION!! Stop, stand, stare, observe, engulf, enjoy, awe, and reflect in total unobstructed beauty, peace, happiness, and graciousness! It gets no better than this! Wow!! It's totally stunning! You guys do not stop amazing me. I thank you both so very much for being the fabulous you! ❤ I'm looking forward to the next video!
I stopped the video halfway thru to tell you thanks for sharing this. The footage is breathtaking! What beautiful places. I am not a traveler to distant lands so I really appreciate this treat. Sending you best wishes for safety and peace on all your journeys..... And now back to the show.....
Absolutely stunning but also at times a harsh place to live. No wonder the vikings moved over to the Scottish Northern Islands and made their way down. Thank you once again for the trip. =-)
Thank you Lorraine, so pleased you liked it. At times yes it looks harsh, some of the settlements are tiny in out of the way places and you look up and think how do they even get to that part of the mountain let alone live there. Amazing.
This film also gives a good idea of what this country looks like. It is beautiful to see everywhere, although I find it very lonely at times. You have had a nice trip, thanks for the film and the excellent commentary!
It is a large country with a small population, which in summer is full of visitors. This time of year is quieter but most of the areas we have shown you will get quite crowded in the summer. We liked the peace and quiet for this time of year. Glad you enjoyed the trip with us.
So breathtaking! I'm blown away. Your travel videos are beautifully executed and I love the useful information being narrated. Your winter travels are all so mesmerizing!
More beautiful scenery. What a shame you missed the boat tour, but the fijord views were amazing just the same. I notice all the trees are deciduous, what are they do you know? Thanks for sharing your trip with us. Cheers Cheryl 🙂
I had to look it up but apparently white birch or downy birch are the most common in Northern Europe. It was a shame we could not ride on the boat but I think we managed to find some equally wonderful places we would have otherwise missed.
What a gorgeous adventure! Thank you, once again, for sharing your journey with us. The landscape is breathtaking. Blessings to you both and your parents.
It was a wonderful time up and down the mountain. Yes a bit tight at times but generally the roads are very good and safe in Norway. People are also courteous and not in a rush.
Aw can we give you 2-Thumbs Up, guyz?! So beautiful, shame about the ice, but the road trip ws gorgeous, although I wonder how super hair-raising it would be when it's busier?! Fabulous trip, thanks for taking us along.
You can indeed! Haha, yes I would imagine in summer some of the places we went would be busier and more cars so lots of stops to pass traffic etc. Certainly on the Stegastein Viewpoint part. That is popular. No so sure many people venture to the cave waterfall and see those views.
@@MemorySeekers I certainly appreciate your trips & guidance - I'm not sure why I was never sparked to visit Scandinavia - probably because I lived in US & when back in UK, was out of my reach $$$, but would certainly love to go should I ever be fit enough & back in the North. But I'm hoping others will go on account of your videos, even if I can't go! Keep safe!
Just incredible views!!! Disappointing about the river excursion and the Viking Village, but things happen when traveling, and you just regroup. That's what makes it an adventure! The overlook above the fjord would have my knees shaking. You must feel like you are hovering in the sky. You always find the most beautiful places to film. Glad I can join you each week. :)
Yes it was a real shame we could not take the boat ride. Apparently is very rarely happens that the ice builds up to a level that the boat would be damaged to travel. Still we can keep it on the list for next time we go, maybe in another area of Norway.
Your channel never disappoints. Great information, camera work and commentry all add up to one of the most professional travel channels on the internet in my view. Thank you for all you do for us and for taking those of us unable to travel these days along with you both. I cant wait to see "where we are going next week"! xx
Hi Simon and Will. You may have missed a couple of tourist opportunities but sometimes the simplest things can turn out to be the best. Nature can often be the very thing we didn’t know we needed. Flam and the surrounding area is beautiful. No matter where you guys are filming, your videos always do your locations justice. Thanks so much ❤
I thought: how disappointing that they have missed several things in one episode -- but the replacements made up for any disappointment. As Irene Coerman said, "Wow" occurred many times. Thank you so very much.
Embarking on a road trip in February 2025 , my wife and I will travel from the UK to Hamburg, then proceed to Kristiansand, Stavanger, Bergen, Flåm, Oslo, Gothenburg, Copenhagen, and finally make our way back to the UK through the Netherlands. Your valuable insights have played a crucial role in our planning. cheers :)
You reminded me that I did buy a little wooden rosemaling souvenir, an image of an angry person in a rose garden always comes to mind. Thanks for the tour.
Yikes!!! And I thought that the punters were getting scalped at the local Great Barrier Reef tourist scams. It looks like the old Viking tradition of stealing all you've got is still being rigorously upheld! 😱🙄😉
When we arrived and saw how they had hidden the village around high walls we were suspicious and then the prices which from memory worked out about £50 each was just to much. I could well be that its an amazing place but from the outside and the adverts they didn't go a good enough job at convincing us it was worth the ticket price.
It doesn't look that bad, really. KR205 ~ AUD$30. I know those places are tourist traps but I figure when I'm there I'll be a tourist, so... :) Thanks for the video. My wife and I are looking forward to visiting the area later this year.

Breath taking scenery! You Guys are lucky to see and explore beautiful places! Stay safe.
Yes, we are lucky. This is our passion to travel and so save up and make the most of our holidays and weekends rather than spending on other things. 😊

So glad!
Thank you for another beautiful trip around Norway. You're braver than me to drive that narrow road to get to the Viewpointe. Gorgeous scenery.
It was quite tight at times but the views! A great memory.
Stunning scenery! Almost magical. As always, you have done a marvelous job. Thanks for taking us along!
Our pleasure!
Gobsmackedly beautiful and stunning place!!! Thank you again for sharing this beautiful country with us ❤️. 😊😊😊

Lovely camerawork! Thank you for the tour from someone who won’t ever be able to travel there otherwise.❤

Looks like a wonderful trip! I bet it's beautiful in the summer as well. Hope you have a blessed Easter✝️🐰
Happy Easter! Yes I am sure summer is also wonderful in different ways. Will try that sometime in the future!

We were very disappointed with missing the boat trip, but yes, the alternative worked out well and we would have missed those had we been on the boat.

It really is!

Yet another beautiful presentation! Congratulations!
Gorgeous
Beautiful, though those drives look pretty scary to me! So...sheep, but no wool yarn in the shop? 😉 Ah well, maybe next time.
Uauuuuuu que coisa mais linda.
actually contemplating a flam drive tour as part of our volvo overseas delivery program visit. noticed you are driving a volvo as well. 🙂
😍👍❤❤❤💐⚘

Beautiful road trip. May I know when was this? We are planning a trip in April. Thank you very much
This was the first week of March.
Very good info and I will follow the same.
