Awesome video, I am in the market for an F650GS (twin). I've ridden cruisers forever, but I'm over them. Great bike, great video, thanks! Just did an Iron Butt Saddle Sore 1000 on my VStar 950 Tourer, but it just doesn't do anything for me anymore. How fast are you comfortable cruising on the bike, and loaded and at highway speed, what kind of mileage and range do you get?
I know I'm not the original poster of this video but I have an '09 twin as well, been riding it for about 5000k now. Perfectly comfortable cruising at 140-160 kph with myself (170 lb) and 30-40 lb of gear plus full cases. I've also had a friend on the back and gotten up to 160 with no issues. Highly recommended for long trips.
Very nice video, thank you for taking the time to make it. I have one as well (a 2009). It is my very first motorcycle and it is a very good one for beginners too. I did a 880 km day and I was not very tired, I could still go but I reached my destination (I also replaced the seat with a Touratech one). I have a question - what kind of tank bag do you have?
Leonard Chirila I don't have it on there anymore but it was a joe rocket manta. I've got full luggage on the back of the bike now. Check out my givi v47 review.
Thanks! I've become used to it now and expect the clunk from all bikes. When i made this video i was pretty new to the riding world. I've got over 31K miles on it now! I need to do another video review. Its been a great bike, cant get enough of it!

Geordi La Forge yeah I've heard that more than once. I kind of like it. Although the older GS did have a pretty mean look to the front of it. I'll be doing my 16,000 mile review pretty soon. So stay tuned

Cool bike but the headlights shape puts me off.

Yeah I prefer the older symmetrical headlight, safe riding.
I like the odd headlights!
Personally I like the headlights
