I sat in a 2023 Glc and was SHOCKED at how much cheap plastic there is in this vehicle. I work at a dealership and it was the same quality as a cheap Jeep or Dodge product. My wife drives a 24 X3 and what a difference in quality.
@@shawns2835 Sounds like a you problem. Literally every review of the GLC43 disagrees with you.🤣 I can’t wait to see you damage control the X3 with an interior so cheap it makes the GLC look like a Bentley.😂
Sorry but of course they will use more plastic, all the regulations around the world require less consumption, so the car needs to lose weight to achieve it, I talked to several Engineers of Daimler once I was working at a Tier1 supplier
Agreed, all these new vehicles with big tablets also include lots of plastic. The big screen is meant to distract you from the cheaper-feeling interior.
@@PRNTestDrive There’s less plastic than the old generation. The screens don’t just distract, they are glass, which is expensive to put in an interior.
The pushing on plastic and calling it poor build quality is one of the dumbest trends and just screams “I have no clue what I’m talking about”. Literally every single car made in 2024 will have different plastic components that you can make these exact noises with. lol dog, what you’re hearing is the sound of plastic over a microphone. No they aren’t going to replace all the plastic in your car with ceramic, metal or other materials that would make less noise - that’s a waste of money and adds a lot of weight. Amateur review.
I mean no car is perfect, we're just pointing out a few things on each. We also have 3 cool features on this E-Class, you should check that one out too!

We've heard that about other models in the Mercedes lineup, there's certainly been a shift towards cost-cutting in a lot of their vehicles.
The 2025 X3 interior is cheapened far worse than the GLC.
@@jaymum23the 2023 glc is garbage though. Test drove a glc43 and it was one of the worst cars I’ve ever driven

@@jaymum23 I’m talking about the driving experience. The turbo lag is horrendous and this is supposedly the best from Mercedes’ 🤣
Thank you so much for this! You have totally swayed me away!!!!
Ofc there is rear panel but you have to buy full AC system
🤷♂️🤷♂️
for north america (usa and canada) there is no rear climate control option for some reason

Fair enough.
Somehow toyota/lexus plastics still manage to be more durable and dont even creek let alone crack
I always wondered how these car companies made money. 😂
You have to pay allt more now to get "luxury"
Definitely the case!
Too much plastic, it's really nice but too much plastic

it’s a 450 now so there’s no more 43 amg again?
The E-Class’ entry-level AMG is the E 53.
@ thanks, this lineup makes much more sense
Actually, they need to drop this 43,53 450 lines and bring back the 550
There are rear climate control its an option😅
That's true.
1. Yes there is, you just have the poor people spec.
2. Bending is more durable long term.
3. So? Just buy an older car.

Rip for a 13 second Short that just shows off a few negatives about a car.
Totally agree. But it’s perfect for uneducated Americans.
@@PRNTestDrive that guy’s livelihood probably depends on people buying these new junk.
He’s not wrong. The new Mercedes’ interiors are garbage. The materials they use are worse than what hyundai and Kia are now using.

@@PRNTestDrivedo you agree Mercedes has fallen?
Just buy Toyota Honda
Toyota is overrated, Honda is good but quality and reliability has gone down. Mercedes has good quality and reliability but expensive to maintain.
My 2012 Volvo S60 is build way better than this 😂😂
Can't beat those Volvos!
