I’m going to come off like a total hater, but Mulcahy leaving is an addition by subtraction. He’s a gutsy player who at times really gave Rutgers good minutes. BUT, he was wildly inconsistent and a nightmare in end of game situations. Honestly, from turnovers to flagrant fouls to defensive breakdowns, this guy was a total liability at the end of the game.

Was upset at first for the reason you mentioned. He's gutsy as he'll. But the way he played down the stretch was a big reason why we didn't make the tournament . I think with simpson and the kid from UMass we didn't need the ball in his hands anymore

@@loganbartolozzi6382 I think losing losing Cam Spencer was bigger because he could actually make 3s. They really need Simpson to make more shots this year.

Cam also became the John Starks of RU.
Fantastic on his best days, abysmal on his worst.
How many important games did Spencer finish with less than 10 points?
too many , is the answer.
IMO, Spencer was too erratic to be someone to count on.
Pretty much the same for Mulcahy.
He had too many games with less than 8 points total, while playing most of the game.
Too many passes that proved pointless, when he could have just taken the shot.
