Its so common for pits. Unfortunately some genetics just can’t be out trained and they game/prey drives make them awful dangerous animals. Advocate for BE!

Angel is beautiful, funny, charming, rambunctious, charismatic, affectionate and boisterously playful. She is full of joy and a joy to love. Touch and sound..my late boy was blind for the last two yrs of his life...we were inseparable..he never whined or demanded anything from me, i bought him a stroller, he was still my protector making sure i was safe from other dogs..bladder cancer then i had to make that awful call. 18months and im not at peace with it.

She's beautiful. We lost our Mastiff earlier this morning. She lost her sight about a year ago. She was one of our babies for the last 10 years. Blindness didn't slow her down. Going to miss her terribly. Goodbye sweet girl. We'll see you soon enough.

I had a blind cattle-dog for many years. He lost his sight when he was pretty young. I told my vet that it makes me feel so sad for him. He said don’t feel sad for him, he doesn’t know that that’s not how it should be. He’ll adjust and be happy. He did, and he was! I recently adopted a totally deaf cattle-dog. I taught her sign language, and she learned very quickly. I keep a vibrating (not shock) collar on her for when she’s too far away to see me, which is often. After all, she IS a high energy cattle-dog, and she’s perfect in my eyes.

Totally true! Lara couldn't care less about having her vision. Although I have to admit, it is ADORABLE to see Lara get scared when a leaf blows across the sidewalk. The noise it makes must be rather surprising and odd to Lara, because she just about jumps out of her fur! 🤣😍
