One of my absolut favorite opera artists...she had it all.....intelligence, spectacular glorious voice, beauty, sexiness, charisma and above all an astounding musical and dramatic sensitivity. Without true musical intelligence it doesn't matter how pretty your voice is.

It doesn’t get any better than this, sadly we no longer have such quality of opera singing. Maybe it’s better that we don’t as the productions are mainly trash and bear no relationship to the composers intention.
She uses the horizontal mouth position advocated by some teachers.

Non esageriamo con il dire che si tratta della Callas di colore, per cortesia. Per il resto, l'esibizione è molto graziosa, tranne per i costumi scelti dal regista che lasciano un po' a desiderare...

La giovane Callas quando era giovane era Fantastica, ma il Italia 🇮🇹 all’inizio della sua carriera era poco apprezzata, è un fatto.
Poi trovo poco intelligente il fatto di paragonare una cantante giovane con un’altra che è più anziana…
