Josephine Olson - Clueing People In on Learning Disabilities

The National Center for Learning Disabilities aims to amplify the voices of our Young Adult Leadership Council Members to shed light on the inequalities students with disabilities face day in and day out. We want to share these stories to establish community, gain support, and take action for the 1 in 5 with learning and attention issues.

I understand. I never had accommodations. After struggling over 50 years, I discovered I'm 2E. It's too late for me, but the children of today could have a much better chance if they are given help to achieve their full potential.

I agree. I also have seizure disorders which people give advantage to underestimate my illness
