Worked but in the end the sticker is really blurry, even though its HD and in portrait mode
Hmm it can't be perfect because as much you enlarge a photo, that much the quality will be lost. But try to select the photo well with all the edges before saving as sticker. So it would be less blurry

Use a high quality picture which is in portrait mode, not landscape.. i mean a tall image, not wide.
@Eradicator why not? use other picture if it won't let you select the whole picture with edges. and also enlarge it more so the missing edges can be hidden.

Yeah the photo becomes blurry when you enlarge it. But try a high quality photo which is vertically tall. Then it will look better

Because the photo is of good quality and also its a tall pic. Like a straight pic, taken in Portrait mode, you know portrait and landscape...
