    Wow, the abundance of animals is exceptional.
    I was in Tsavo East last week on a days Safari and was lucky enough to see all the big five except for Rhinos.
    The Serengeti seems to have more of everything.
    Safari is blooming expensive 😢

      Amazing! We have been to Tsavo many times and love it there!
      Serengeti was very cool, and so many animals, but yes the cost really took us by surprise!

    Hey there's a restaurant called Elaichi in Carmarthen, Wales that sells chapati. Go figure.

    Beautiful video of the Serengeti guys, absolutely loved it, so great to see the animals looking healthy and I’m going to say happy 😃 by the way the lions don’t usually prefer to climb trees but they do it to protect themselves from being bitten by tsetse flies in the sand….. they experience the same irritation from bugs as you do haha the whole adventure just magical 😊. Ps the fees are much like the tsetse flies grrrrrr

    Though you saw so much for a self drive. Please do a comparison to the Mara before the end of the series. Crazy park fees aside, it sounds like it could be a better safari experience 🤔

    • @WhereNextFamily
      @WhereNextFamily  8 месяцев назад +1

      I (Adam) have a slightly unpopular opinion...
      I'm don't really rate Mara that much. It's so expensive, and I've just had better experiences in other parks.
      I know many people love Mara and I see why, but for me...nah 🤣

      Entry fee is 82.6 USD per day per person, camping is 35.4 USD per day per person and vehicle fee is 15USD per day. How is that even possible.

    Those charges are clearly telling everyone that Kenya has some of the most established safaris including the entire tourism industry..... very organised and systems work

    • @WhereNextFamily
      @WhereNextFamily  8 месяцев назад

      I agree somewhat, but I think everywhere has its issues. Even Kenya is now raising all park fees, bringing in new (confusing) systems, and apparently doing the 12 hour thing for Mara 🙈
      That being said...of course we Love Kenya ❤️❤️❤️
