Achilles ignores every Smite content creator over the past couple weeks saying "Don't play warriors in solo" Gets clapped by Mast for playing a warrior and instantly bm's LMAO
Rules of SPL don't usually apply to casual/ranked games to be honest. That Achilles was just unlucky to find Mast on the other side. Tanks right now are just disadvantaged in the early game but they're still fundamental in the late game. The trick is to build a bit of damage early to be able to clear wave and then, since the games last way longer now, sell those items for defense and you're good to go. With a bit of adjustments tanks are just as good as they were before.

Mathematically speaking, warriors just need a bit of damage in the laning phase to be able to keep up with clearing the wave and they're good. Late game is a thing now and you can't get away with not having a frontline, plus a game with too many hunters is very easily counterable: just get gods that disarm, buy nemean and/or spectral, buy relics that slow attack speed, buy items that slow attack speed, just make them regret being greedy in solo, since it's so easy to do. Warriors aren't dead, people just need to learn how to play the late game again. There's only one thing tanks can't do anymore: dive the backline and solo a hunter/mage while being unkillable. That was stupid, unfair and not in the role at all, so it's good that they can't do that anymore, since it wasn't their job. Now they remain tanky as hell (since full defense items haven't been touched) but deal a lot less damage and that's just fair. The difference between a warrior and a guardian (aggressive tank vs defensive tank) should be in their kit and cc, not in how much damage they deal, or at least barely. And that's why warriors were viable in basically every role except mid and carry: they could be solos, supports and junglers just as good. Now they're not dead, they're just in their right place.

I mean, she still can be good. Her three is a nice way of disarming the adc to get to them, she always goes attack speed and you can even play her as an adc.

In the first five mins I managed to kill her twice but for some reason, the lead wasn't enough to win afterwards? I only managed to kill her and win the game late game when I got all of my crits.
I'd love to see some 9.5 jungling. I played a Pele game and it felt weird, I mostly couldn't kill anyone early/mid game but actually carried late game which is not usual as Pele :')

well bluestone + soul eater seems to be working for me right now as a start. I get good pressure plus decent sustain (not amazing of course but at least its something lol). Ironically, I also like using glad shield (usually more often than soul eater)... and relic dagger is fun. Spirit robe is also very nice.
bluestone into sov into glad shield into either pest, genjis or bulwark into pridwen and discord. arthur has incredibly long ability to damage timers so building damage on him isnt worth it, his base damage is also really bonkers, but since he revolves so hard around throwing yourself into people its very important you can tank stuff. getting that sov early in new patch makes him pretty much immortal to anything less than a 3 man gank.
If i still played, I'd probably just play glass cannon wukong. A fun build i used to enjoy before i quit the game. But i still watch videos of my favorite youtubers like Mast and Sam

It’s his passive. So normally a (non-Deathbringer) crit deals double damage, I believe. Which is a 100% bonus to your normal damage. So a 100 base damage attack would crit for 200. But Heim’s passive makes it so crits only deal 40%, not 100%, more damage. So a 100 base auto would only crit for 140 on Heim vs 200 on all other physical gods. Why? He has cleave autos. And maybe does more base damage? Not sure if it evens out vs other hunters or not, don’t know those specific numbers. But the main takeaway is that Heim loses 60% of the benefit of crit, so it’s generally not a good idea to build him crit.
@@timgood9818 Heim is also the only adc with an auto attack progression(cherry has one but it's for smaller autos). Two autos get 1.25 damage and the single target one gets 1.5. That's really why you do not want crit to work on heim. He essentially already has crit just built into his autos, and they always hit that hard. If crit worked normally on him, with a full power deathbringer build it would be possible for him to literally kill a squishy in one auto(before the 40% buff patch). This is also why he has the lowest base damage autos of any hunter, because it scales to hit harder than any other's.
Like you and almost everyone else that played pts, I feel almost all warriors are dead right now, gg on the win, I've no idea how good or bad he feels in this new patch but if possible could you do a fenrir mid game please 👍

Day 1 of asking for Bumba's cheese Achilles, go a full health/prot build and late game, your so tanky that bumbas heals almost 300 health. It's super fun.
I'd day it's alright if the jungle gets the kill steal in solo because you get the assist anyway and gold and xp. The jungles can use the kills as camp's where nerfed.
If you're curious as to why they're bad now is because they nerfed the hybrid items and they used those to clear early game plus front minions have a lot of health now so now warriors have no clear. Add to that the fact that everyone got a huge hp boost early game so they cant punish squishies early game like before. So now not only can ranged characters outclear them and poke at the same time but they don't die early game because of the hp boost lvl 1. So get ready to see the same 4 mages and a bunch of hunters in the next patch. Expect solo laners to snowball a lot more often now, it's not gonna be fun
Cu Chulainn really suffered with these hybrid nerfs. Dude is one of the best warriors for those items and it's gutted. He was slipping before the nerfs and now he definitely won't do anything in conquest.

This meta is not rly my thing. As a jungle main, my early pressure is so low. Played a few arachne games and it's so hard to deal dmg to people early game even with manikin.
The first few games I’ve played on this patch felt pretty cringe to me. Tried an Achilles game and pretty much hated my life the whole time. Guess adc is the way to go this patch.
