I'm not one to pick,you did a good job but if you are going to zoom in on it after the slates have been put back in then you should have made sure that the valley cuts were put back where you pulled them from, the cut looks an inch lower on the right hand side of the valley
Yeah good spot, I used a slate hook that that slate rests on which could have been placed higher. Fair point, but still water tight, these slates have 4 inch headlap which is more than enough, it’s now 3. Back in the day slating was 2 inch headlap, stripped many of those and they didn’t leak because of the 2 inch headlap.

Nails and last one used slate hook and adhesive.
