Escapism.
FFX was awesome. FF12 also good
I thought FF13 was the worst untill i played FF15. Now realized FF13 wasnt so bad after all. Now we wait for this. Please no boyband, picture taking, cooking recipe chatacters.
I'm really excited to play this in another 9 years
"War of the Eikons" is an interesting subtitle for this game.🤔
Elden Ring and Game of Thrones vibes are strong with this one.
um no. this is core final fantasy at the core right here. nothing elden ring about it
@@IBlackSanta u mad cuz u know u lying lol. they clearly took some hints.
@@IBlackSanta you're 100% right. The Elden Ring comparisons are strange.
@dragon dx2 absolutely!
I would discount Elden Ring vibes lol. Devs said they took some inspiration from the Witcher 3. FF's roots have always been medieval though.
when will it be released?
this feels like a whole new different approach to the Final Fantasy franchise, it looks so incredible!
What? No it doesn't! The character models and art style is EXACTLY THE SAME AS 14!!
ff 14 basically lol just different story ...
just feels final fantasy is losing it identity
@@bojangler9685 yes... like RE... just the name is left...
terrible... this story feels damm generic...
Not a new approach at all. Its an approach they used before from FF7 to FF9.
They're using the FF15 engine and mechanics and creating a new setting with it. Just like they did with FF7, 8 and 9 which were all using the same mechanic just different setting and story.
FINAL FANTASY XVI: Game of Thrones
Everything about this is superb but I find the voice acting to be particularly excellent!
The narrator gave me strong Elden Ring vibes, in a good way.
Rise, ye crownless kings! A reckoning is upon you!
Yes.
0:35 FINCHY!!!!
Refreshing to see good quality games are still being made after watching these Gotham Knights reviews
we will see if its good quallity trailer say nothing
@@gehtkeinenwasan8087 It's being helmed by Yoshi-P... he would not attach his name to anything that isn't QUALITY... and he will not allow it to be released until it's finished. He's delayed games before due to needing more time... and the results have been epic!
Will come in PT brazil ?
Everyone of them gangsta til' G'raha Tia accidentally sends the WoL to this world
Who is back here after playing the game?
The Final Fantasy series soundtrack score never disappoints!
It has since Uematsu stopped doing them. They’ve been meh at best
@@eeebee6166 HELLO? SOKEN???
I'm so excited I just bought a iPhone 14 pro max just for this game
Great Trailer you know what would be great to have before this is released. Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster on consoles with trophy support and a physical release.
"Rise you crownless kings, a recking is upon you... A war of the Eikon!"
I didnt even realize that we get to see young Clive and older clive
I find it funny that the owner was so quick to blame any
Givin how many have givin FFXIV a try in the past 2 years. If they can nail this with the newly drawn in fans as well. This would bold very good for SE's future.
Is anyone here playing FFXIV? I am thinking of joining it, but not sure where to start.
The Rings of Power show runners could learn a few things here.
For real 🤣
🤯
So you got your jinchurikis from each nation, then the guy you control is likely some rogue group (maybe against his governments ideals) and seemingly defeating other jinchurikis, collecting their power to ultimately be able to do a thing.
Pretty much. 😆
Yep this looks like a cool premise
I'm happy to see FF going back to medieval times. FF6 and FF9 are the only ones I like. Now, I'm concerned about the lack of female characters. I'm also concerned about the lack of charm. A bunch of men grunting… I need more than that.
You would like FF14 as FF16 looks a lot like it, just with better graphics.
We are all ready for the GOTY
Yassss this will be eikonic 💅😌
Why do those kingdoms sound like the ones in FF12?
I am so happy that they are returning to a medieval setting!
returning? what ff was purely medieval...
@@gehtkeinenwasan8087 none are purely anything, but they lean a certain way. The aesthetic of this one reminds me of ff9...
@@gehtkeinenwasan8087 Quite alot of sci-fi and steam punk settings in almost every single mainline game.
It is noted that even 1 had the WarMechs and the castle in space/castle in the sky. There was always a mixture of the medieval and technological.
@@gehtkeinenwasan8087 1, 2, 3, 4 ,5 and 9... if Im not forgetting any.
You know it's going to be pretty dark when a northerner is in the voice cast.
This looks absolutely amazing. Voice acting on point too. So happy to be pumped for a mainline FF again.
The voice acting is dreadful. They never learn!
I feel like I'm watching a pub theatre production
@@SpotMyElephant you are dead wrong about that. You must not have played any modern final fantasy.
@@SpotMyElephant wow its almost as if it were a game made BY japanese people FOR japanese people, and the english voiceovers are entirely secondary.
you realize that the Western market isn't the focus for every studio, right? The West does not need to be endlessly catered to.
@@SpotMyElephant K troll..... nextttttt
They already made Game of Thrones.
Is this in world of Ivalice as in FF XII?
No
Not surprising considering how much respect Yoshi P has for Matsuno's work.
I can't believe there's actually a mainline FF game that's going for the M rating.
I love the ost it sound so much like older ff games I can’t wait
Does anyone know what storyline this follows?
Take my money already! This looks like a genuine masterpiece on an epic scale with an incredible vision - all of which I dig! Can't wait to immerse myself into this gorgeous game!
Will this be for PS4 or PS5 only?
That Titan battle looks like is going to be especially epic
Square taking inspiration from dark souls 1 here
From game of thrones
Devil May Cry 6 looks insane. Can’t wait!!
I know right!!
i’m sorry was that sephirot one winged angel form at the end 👀
This definitely gives me a classic final fantasy feeling with game of thrones vibe
I like the fact that they mention the crystals. Also, I like the fantasy setting.
This feels nothing like the Final Fantasy we all know and love... might as well call this game Demon Souls
@@maximus9698 Souls game with Final Fantasy mechanics, why not? Sounds awesome!
@@maximus9698 Blah blah, everything has to fit in a neat little box for you, if you cannot except change then go play Tetris dude.
@@maximus9698 besides what combat is gonna be and all the setting is closer to old finel fantasy then most have been. Not that I mind the sci-fi games but you know fantasy, swords and stuff...
