On this planet there are an infinite number of people, and they are all different, but there are two types of people that have a special interest for me and that have to do with something that I love, the Art of Music.
Those two types are the performers and the artists. The performer uses someone else's works as a means of expression, and the artist is the one who creates those works.
You, my dear Jenn, to begin with, you are a wonderful performer, multifaceted, virtuoso and you have impressive technical ability, but, today I am not going to delve into your side of just interpretation, but as an artist... and what is an artist? :
“The artist is an individual who has developed both his creativity and the ability to communicate what he feels, since, through art, he is capable of evoking feelings in people who appreciate his work; he is that person who is capable of expressing emotions, ideas or feelings through plastic, linguistic or sound resources, and there are two fundamental qualities that define him as an artist:
Originality: It is said that a person is original, when he is able to break his paradigm, to express the essence that he carries inside, to be who he wants to be, without being guided by habitual patterns of behavior. To be original, it is enough to do things the way each person believes. In fact, great personalities have stood out because they act as they think and that is the main trait that makes them different from other people.
Creativity: It is said that highly creative people are tremendously intuitive and are very interested in the abstract meaning of the external world rather than in their sensory perception.
And you Jenn, apart from being a wonderful performer with your wonderful voice and style, you are also a great artist, and what most defines you as such is that your creations, apart from complying with the technical aspects, have your distinctive seal of a very gorgeous sensitivity... there is no doubt that your passion for music has allowed you to develop and grow in spirit, and how you are channeling it at the moment is with your impressive creations (like the one that has us here today).
May God always allow you to be yourself and continue growing as you are already doing, and may He continue to bless you as He has already been doing. ❤
