- 🌞 I'm sharing some gelli printed rice papers today that I love to use for collaging. For the prints I am using some stamps together with acrylic paints.

I've had a gel plate for about a year and tried a couple of times to use it and did not have good results. I like how you are demonstrating the way to apply the paint and use stamps and create all the lovely collage papers. Thank you for your simple applications for using the gel plate. All of the videos I watched from other places made it seem so complicated. Love your style.

When you use it for collage do you use matte medium or rice paper glue ? Does it matter what side you use ? It has smooth side or rough side ? Thank you
I use mainly a glue stick and then cover the background with clear gesso if I want to go on top with other mediums. Mat medium will also work just fine. I never heard about rice paper glue. I don't think it's important to have. I usually print on the smooth side, I have no idea if this is important.
You think that sumi paper would work for this? I think it’s rice paper... and I think I have some around here somewhere 🤔

No, not really. I've only tried one I found on amazon.
