I love this song! I hope that you react to Episode 1 SM Culture Universe - Black Mamba. SM is doing something so cool with Aespa - they're creating an actual narrative about the group and their AI counterparts (called their "aes"). At first, I thought that was so out there but in Episode 1, it seems like they're tackling the whole toxic social media thing that everyone - mostly young people - have to contend with nowadays. First listen, the beat drop threw me off. I wasn't used to it. Second listen? Yeah, it grew on me fast. You're a better man than I for liking it from the get go. I was one replay behind. Before this song came out (I had yet to hear Black Mamba), I only allowed two k-pop groups in my heart (it's complicated). Those two are BlackPink and Dreamcatcher. But after falling in love with Karina, Giselle, Ningning and Winter, I had no choice but to make room for Aespa. These gals are supposed to be rookies but they bring it like veterans.

First listen, the beat drop threw me off. I wasn't used to it. Second listen? Yeah, it grew on me fast. You're a better man than I for liking it from the get go. I was one replay behind.
