Except up air because greninja's up air doesn't have any ground hit box. Once mastered it's pretty easy to do.
After watching this it's hard to not think that greninja is low-key the best character in the game. Obviously these combos aren't easy but what other character has a combo game even close to this. It just feels so unparalleled

Finally, a somewhat recent Greninja main video. I play on the 3ds, which is quite a challenge, but I was wondering what is the most optimal control set for Greninja, I main him as well and am curious on how to control him better as well and get better combos.
The reason why we shuriken after the dair is to wait for the opponent to get up from the lock. The shuriken stalls greninja just long enough to set up for a fast fall nair
Jake Large it's possible to tech the up air spike and down air in certain situations, but it really depends on whether or not the person you play against can react to your options
Jake Large yeah it's pretty difficult, teching the up air spike (UAS it's not actually called that but it's way to long) especially, but so long as the Greninja gets the foot stool following the UAS while you are grounded it is tech able (and the easiest part of the combo to use to escape). Because of that pay special attention to when the foot stools happen

Why do you throw the shuriken mid air? Is it to slow you down for the followup?
Nerf Irelia after a footstool greninja goes pretty high and a shuriken halts his vertical momentum to make the timing less strict

Don't quote me on this but I'm pretty sure you can't tech the up air spike if greninja footstools you right before hitting the ground
