Charlotte will not automatically become "Princess Royal" when and if her father becomes king as long as Princess Ann the one and only Princess Royal so far passes. William can't give a title to someone if the title has not reverted back to the him/ruler. Another boo boo.

Yes, I agree, leave her alone. I can see, how the judgement on her, 'them' and the speculation, assumption about this n that e.g. the horseshoe broach; how does the reporter know who the gave her the broach and whether she, herself suggested wearing it or not?? On top of that, who cares, why is it even an issue? Poor kid is 7 for crying out loud, she is still developing her personality, her character, my grand daughter is 7, I'm sure her mother, aunt Anne or Sophie suggested to wear it on her coat because gan gan gave it to her & we are going to her funeral, it might be nice to wear it? Who knows, and why does it matter, girls are generally encouraged to wear jewelry such as this, depending on their position within the hierarchy, she's 'in training' to be royal after all, who knows she might even become a Queen, so their upbringing requires children to accept their hereditary position, which comes with certain expectations, traditions, etiquette etc. these indoctrinations start from birth. Children are introduced to the public from a young age so they feel comfortable with 'the people' as they grow up, just like William & Harry were. They are gradually inducted into their role, by their parents, the firm, their grandparents, the King, the Queen whatever, they are conditioned to present themselves in a certain way, or whatever you want to call it. I can't say I envy their position, I do understand both William's, Catherine's, and Harry's differing outlooks and avoid making judgements for or against, it's not easy for any of them regardless of what some might think.

How do you know that. None of these things you are they are saying facts or truth. They’re all opinion. I do agree that they need to leave children alone. However their parents pushed them out there. For their own selfishness. This was not about honoring their grandmother. If they cared about the kids honoring their grandmother they would’ve brought the kids to see her before she died. But they prioritize school instead. But they didn’t prioritize school instead of them being pushed out there for millions and millions of people to seeing criticize them.
Why because they want them to be seen because they want this royal reign to continue for generations.

She set up a charity for this, believing that early intervention leads to better outcomes for vulnerable children. She is patron of many charities, including the National Gallery. She holds a degree in the history of art, so is well placed for that patronage. She has an ambassadorial role in which she meets with presidents and heads of state when they visit the Uk and represents the UK while abroad. I have never heard of her promoting dance, drama or music!

The most high profile events she has taken part in so far are the Platinum Jubilee celebrations and the State Funeral of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. We can can expect the Wales children to play a big part in the Coronation of her Grandfather King Charles III. Princess Charlotte will be Princess Royal one day but NOT until after the death of her Great Aunt, Princess Anne as there is only ever one Princess Royal at a time.

My heart went out to her as she steadfastly accompanied her late mother on her final journey from Balmoral to Windsor. I lost my own beloved Mum who was 92 exactly 8 weeks before Her Majesty passed away and appreciate how hard it must have been for Princess Anne having to put on a brave face in public. I know I couldn’t have done it and I’m still struggling to cope but the Princess and the Royal Family have no choice.

Well her teachers at St Thomas were deputy heads, assistant heads and the headteacher. So of course she got a better education. I’m glad that they’ve left now though as that school (and their other schools) felt like they were above every other school because they attended.

Being "bossy" is a more fitting quality for being a supporter of a future monarch than it is being a Queen. Ergo, bossing her brother around sets him up to be as humble as his great grandmother, with a great deal of tolerance and perseverance.
In any case, it is unlikely that Princess Charlotte will ever reach throne, especially if Prince George grows up, marries and has children who'll take the lead in the line of succession ahead of Princess Charlotte.
The only ways in which Princess Charlotte with have a shoe-in is if there are some - God Forbid - untimely passings between King Charles, Prince William, and Prince George, or Prince George takes the throne and abdicates, or beforehand he takes after his Uncle Harry and relinquishes his royal duties, prompting intervention by the then-current monarch, similar to what King Charles is contemplating right now with Prince Harry's children's place in the line of succession.
Prince William and Princess Kate have ONE HECK of a job on their hands with their eldest son!
Whatever happens in the future, for now I wish Princess Charlotte a full and happy childhood. So far so good.

I think Princess Charlotte is an adorable well rounded mature girl. Who has had the benefit of 4 loving grandparents a special bond with the Queen and is intelligent and quick to pick up upon things such as some of the correct Royal ways already. She is already the leader of the two boys and will be a great help to Willam and her family. I just think she is a beautiful polite and lovely little girl.

I’m not from the UK and still find it unbelievable that there are still Kings and Queens in the world. That being said, I know that the Britt’s LOVED their Queen. I understand the succession of the Royals, but, to me, Charlotte exudes the definition of a Royal ever since she was a very small child. I think Charlotte should bypass George in line for the throne because of it. She seems like a miniature Queen Elizabeth with all the protocol that goes with it. If she exemplifies this all the way to adulthood, and I know she will, it would make her the perfect Queen, just like Queen Elizabeth. As I said I understand the order of succession, but an exception should be contemplated for this exceptional child. Just saying as an outsider looking in 😊.

Princes Charlotte most likely will never sit on the thrown but will greatly support and influence Prince George as King, much as The Princes Royal supports Charles in a way that is strong, feminist (in the best way, being a voice but not having to have everyone look at her) and is a true influencer, much more relevant and doing more for good than 95% of "influencers" be they male of female. Charlotte has amazing women to emulate: her mother, Grandmothers, The Queen, Aunt Pippa, Great Aunt Ann, Zara, Sophie and others.
During the American Revolution, the English monarchs were King George III and Queen Charlotte. Their granddaughter Charlotte was in line for the throne after her father but she died in childbirth and the crown ended up going to her cousin Victoria. So the name has quite a history!

The most important way they are helping their children is teaching them how to handle being in public with their support.
Princess Diana was relentlessly pursued, but Prince William and Princess Catherine are teaching their kids how to handle being in public, and learning how to deal with the papparazi. Precious Princess Charlotte is a fast learner and not intimidated, and is being eased into public life with protection surrounding her.
