I had a valuable comment on the original GilvaSunner video of this song. I wish I could recover it. It basically was my nostalgic memories of this song from this game.
@@cassiopeiathew7406 It was something like "I remember playing this level and hearing this music while watching the colored lights in the sky of Popstar and seeing the landscape of Aurora Area in the background, and thinking it was such a nice peaceful place." My original comment was a bit longer and more eloquent. Oh well.
@@C_B_Hubbs I think I had a similar experience when I first heard it. I didn’t know what to call the feeling but I think that now I’d say it was like remembering the death of something and of collapsing the years afterwards into a feverish daze. I feel like I’m dissolving into everything around me when I hear it, it’s a strange but nice feeling. I’m sorry that you lost the original comment but, if it’s any consolation, at least your still able to hold the memory of it. (Sorry if my recollection was strange, I’m just very attached to this theme).
The audio in the video isn't used in the final game; the beta version. The noticeable difference here is its trumpet play at 0:44. This gotten a lot of people, including myself to believe that it's in the actual game. In my first playthrough, I was confused as of why it sounded different in-game. Digging through this, now I know why, lol.
@@PhanTum926I have to agree that the newer version sounds better: the theremin replacing the trumpet, with an added touch of reverb to everything, really fits into the ethereal feeling the howling synth wind evokes throughout the song.
In the spring of this year, I took the Amtrak California zephy to the Frazier Winter Park station. One of the landmarks you go through on the journey is known as the moffat tunnel. When I came out of them off at tunnel and saw snow on the ground, this song came to my mind.
It has for me as well! Sheesh, it makes me keep in mind that my sister punished me since we we're also suppose to progress on levels and play it together, she basically made me wait a week until we could play again as punishment, it was kinda funny, cause my sister is a super kind ONLY sister i have, and i will always look out for her, just as she would for me :)
Lovely. My heart's attempts at holding onto what happy times used to mean to me.
real
This song has so much power over me
Fr omg 💓🛸
Sounds a bit like somewhere over the rainbow
perfect music to listen to whilst trying to figure out how to get the purple omega key
that one was truly difficult
What a beautiful piece

Do you remember what you said, I’m curious

@@C_B_Hubbs Have you checked the Wayback Machine to see if your comment is still there?
Quite possibly the best track in the entire OST. White Wafers having some of the best songs makes it my favorite and most memorable world.
I loveee white wafers but omg goriath was a pain in the ass when I was little

Which ones better you think?
@@EEEEEEtceteraGood question. The final version is slightly better, in my opinion. The instruments there feel a lot more breezy.

I luv this song
One of my top 5 Jun Ishikawa compositions

Can’t believe it’s been a decade since I played this game. Seems like yesterday

Wow that is crazy.
Love this song. I want to replay game just to play this stage/hear this again.
Best song in return to dreamland
I like this name better than frozen temple
Banger 🗣️
RIP Bower 😭😭
nice track
There’s also freezing temple and nutty noon that are very similar
This music lowkey reminds me of Dr.Doom's theme in MvC3
This sounds like a song from Posy's Segmented Segments
They are named Freezing Temple and A Stroll on the Ocean Floor, not Aurora Area and Rainy Area.
But is are there Aurora lights in White Wafers?
¿que no esta es la versión beta de la canción?
Sí.
