Super happy to see MFT, Avery Elle and SSS cardstock on your list! They're currently my favorite go-to cardstocks and I can't recommend them enough. Heavyweight enough to handle being a card base without being too bulky and cracking when scored (that was an issue I had with some of the Bazzill cardstock I was using before). :)

After watching this video, I realized why I haven't been happy with my cards lately: I've been using too light a weight of card stock. I used to make layered cards but lately have been trying the one-layer cards, and my cardstock is just not heavy enough for that particular application. Thanks for making this video; it explains exactly what I need to use for making the different types of cards, i.e., layered or one-layer.

I also love the DCWV glittery and foiled papers! I have been looking for vellum, so this was a great tip! I am also going to check out the Neenah paper. I've seen you use it all the time, and I want to give it a try. I use another card stock, but it's looking a bit grayish now. As always, I love your tips and these Favorite Things series has been fun!

Thanks for the info Jennifer. Such a pity it's so difficult to get most of these products in the UK.

Love this video. I will have to try the Neenah white card stock. I have too many different white card stocks. Great to hear that Neenah is so versatile. Thanks for making all of these videos. I refer to them often.

So helpful. I always seem to come back to this video. Could you tell me the difference between Neenah Smooth vs super smooth white card stock #. 80 for stamping & alcohol markers?

I’m sorry but actually even at Ellen Hutson they have it wrong for the Neenah paper; Solar white it’s actually the color, the name is Classic Crest and it’s not a Cardstock, it’s a Cover, the finish is Smooth, but it also comes in Super Smooth ( even nicer) and it comes in 80lb and 110lb weight. It’s important to know the actual name to give the correct information, because there re several different kinds of Neenah paper. This is a second video that I found the incorrect information about this
