Three things I have to say:
1. Love the inclusion of Pokemon characters rather than just Pokemon.
2. Team Rocket was on point, loved the fact that K.Rool loved their act and I can't believe you actually came up with a Meauth pre evolution
3. Sonic got some serious moving from school issues
Sounds interesting. I wonder if Bowser will return in Season 2. He’ll have to be Rookie for the most part, and then later on, he actually gets redeemed by Mario and they become friendly rivals.

He did'nt come up with it, it was originally gonna be Meowth preevo but it was scraped... But it's so good!!!
That Meowth is actually the Gen 2 beta baby Meowth. It didn't make it to the final game
i love the fact that Sonic got nine tails trying to hide the fact Tails actually misses him to them
Luigi is such a good parent! Sonic clearly using nine tails to try and cope for his missing friend is both funny and sad. And of course the Rocket Interns. All round this was a hilarious episode!
I could imagine a future Nintendo High episode who's the theme is Mario Strikers!
The Mario Strikers art style reference with Luigi was definitely 1 of my favorite parts. A Mario Strikers themed Nintendo High episode would definitely be something I wouldn’t want to miss out on for sure. Making Strikers a sport championship tournament at Nintendo High could be my guess on how they’ll handle it. Plus there’s multiple characters here outside of the Mario franchise that would definitely be amazing to see compete at this sport. Sonic should have a Hyper Strike kicking the ball straight up, powers up with lightning like we see in the live action Sonic films, and then homing attacks the ball causing a small electric shockwave and then into the goal straight pass Boom Boom (depending whether or not they’ll have him be the goalies here).

This episode feels like an love letter to the entire Pokémon franchise as a whole while I didn't expect the twist with Yoshi at the end plus the fact that Sonic got a Ninetales not only to teach it how to fly but is actually trying to hide the fact that he misses his two-tailed buddy
I love how each episode has a different perspective on the students of Nintendo High, and that the animation is done SO well 😊

This was an awesome episode from Team Rocket and Professor Oak appearing to the bros getting a Yoshi instead of a Pokémon! I actually do want to say that the show is sort of a guilty pleasure for me as a disney channel sitcom but with Smash bros. And is it just me, or does Mario remind me of Dipper Pines? From the voice, to the design, to even how I would describe him.

I love how this episode felt like a story from the anime, just with vastly different characters, the abundance of references in the background cracked me up, you could say. Of course, the punchline at the end of what the bros hatched felt so right, I'm surprised I didn't see it coming.
I actually didn’t expect it even though i wanted to see it multiple times. It felt like a coincidence.
Love how you designed the Pokemon characters like making Nurse Joy into a Home Economics teacher & Oak a biology teacher, but the best part is you brought back Jessie, James, & Meowth back with the fact that Ash's story was over
But Ash's story needs to continue and we need both a proper Sword & Shield anime and a proper Scarlet & Violet anime with both Ash, Pikachu and Team Rocket in it, both Pokemon Journeys and Pokemon Horizons were fucking godawful and cringe worthy and they need to be completely erased from existence and replace it with both a proper Sword & Shield anime and a proper Scarlet & Violet anime with both Ash, Pikachu and Team Rocket in it. Could’ve it been funny if Sonic is just there saying “*yawn* you buttheads have the worst acting I have ever seen”. The Sonic yawning part is actually a reference to Sonic Prime Episode 1: Shattered where after Sonic confronts Eggman, he yawns at his plan and saids, “Yup, I yawned at ya Egghead”
The best part of the episode was killing two birds with one stone. Having a Pokémon episode but also introducing Mama Luigi and baby Yoshi.

Yoshi at the end was a great twist, because I couldn’t figure out what other Pokémon it might’ve been. Maybe all of the colors gave a hint. It gave so much nostalgia tho!

I don't know why I didn't expect it, but hearing that Yoshi...it's like meeting up with an old friend after so long. Thanks for putting him in as the bros pet. Also, nice Falcon reference (the first Falcons name is Douglas Jay, while the second and third are Andy Summers and Ryu Suzaku)
It's cool that since this is like everyone is younger, you guys are using Beta Meowth. Neat detail. Also Peach is so sweet she can immediately evolve a Milcery into an Alcremie. I also thought giving a lot of the characters their own ace was super cool! Very good choices for everyone!

I didn’t see Brock in the background. You sure he was there? I knew Cynthia, Dawn, and a couple of other trainers were there, but I didn’t see Brock anywhere. My guess is that Brock would appear along with Ash Ketchum, Misty, and Serena.

Mario has issues with his parents to act like that in front of his brother yet Luigi doesn't chew him out for it and only encouraged his big bro to at least try being a good parent for Shelly and Mario actually tries for Luigi since it means a lot to him. True brotherly love.

I totally called Shelly being a yoshi that was a great creative idea, Sonic having a Ninetails cuz he misses Tails was smart and seeing Team Rocket was a wave of happiness and nostalgia. Can't wait to see more creative liberties taken with this show!!

I love how every season the characters get new outfits. And all the easter eggs and little appearances of beta Pokemon were a cool touch. Seeing Meowth's pre-evolution was my favorite. He looked so cute.

I love the detail of having Meowth be the scrapped pre-evolution instead of just a small meowth.
Im for real crying over the ending, hearing the tiny voice....It seemed so right and perfect. But i think Sonic is missing a friend...poor Sonic..I hope he's not gonna be at that edge for the remaining part of the semester.

Goosebumps all over my body now. This is what I have been waiting for 🎉 it’s not what I was expecting, but it’s so good
I loved that this episode of Nintendo high was so pokemon heavy. I loved that jessie and james are interns but are still the goofy team rocket from the anime and a young prof oak teaching mario about the importance of taking care of eggs.I really loved how the pokemon eggs hatched into pokemon that ironically fit perfectly with the partners that raised them. I can't wait for the next episode, good work foozle.
As someone who grew up watching and playing Pokemon since it's debut, I want to say thank you Foozle for making an amazing episode. This episode had a lot of Pokemon references that I enjoyed a lot especially how Zapdos hatched it's own egg from Pokemon Snap.

After seeing Mario & Luigi pair up as “parents”, it would only make sense that they’d end up with a new Pokémon named “Yoshi”.
And Mama Luigi.
I mean it’s a complete coincidence since I sort of wanted it to happen in the posts.
You know, perhaps I can share my idea for Season 2 Episode 4 to you: After finding out that Mario and Peach are an official couple, Pauline was enraged at that moment, and wanting revenge on Peach, she has to get some help from someone very powerful, and when she does that, she becomes the Shadow Queen (consider this an inverse on Peach being possessed by the Shadow Queen in TTYD), and she lans on stealing Mario from Peach. Meanwhile, Bowser (going under the name “Rookie”) and Popple go on a trip to Nintendo High to steal from the place or something like that, and also, Yoshi is involved.
How does that idea of mine sound?
My fav part just had to be Team Rocket (‘s interns), James especially. Still iconic, even in non-canon material.

The part where Mario says that they didn't have good parents hurt... It's obvious from afar that they needed a father figure to be happy...I still like how they approach it, I hope to see a chapter investigating about it...
Finally, we see Pikachu. So in smash for N64 we seen, Mario, D.K., Link, Samus, Yoshi, Kirby, Fox, Pikachu, Luigi, Captain Falcon and Jigglypuff.

That was a incredible episode. I loved the pokemon, the eggs, team rocket, Mr. Oak, lessons on parenting and responsibilities and nurse joy.

Do you think Jumpman is going to be Mario and Luigi’s father? There’s been a couple of speculation of Jumpman potential being Mario’s father in “The Super Mario Bros Movie” with his recent cameo on the Super Mario Bros. Plumbing website.
