I've watched the show for years and at some point, I loved Scott and believed that he and Khloe were carrying the show at some point but as I got older I realized how toxic their relationship is. Sure, we don't know the ins and outs but the small portion of their lives that we DID get to see, shows that she gave hi more than enough chances. His alcoholism, mental abuse, and cheating is why she doesn't want him. She deserves someone who doesn't put her through trama. You can be a fan of Scott and still admit that he's the problem. Like, I'm a child of divorce with two normal parents who aren't in the spotlight like they are, and my parents couldn't even successfully co-parent me. Khloe handles Scott so well. Expresses her opinions clearly, but without dominating the situation. And isn't manipulated by him. They all included Scott because Kourtney insisted on having him around, they even went on family holidays with the kids together. She has been very confused about him for a long time, completely understandable since she loved him and had 3 kids with him. I'm glad she's happy and moved on at last.

The reason why the family has a soft spot for him is because he's a good friend to them, he gives them that good side of himself.
I think Scott has been dragging around Kourtney for a while, he didn't want to seriously work on his issues and at the same time he never let her go completely always throwing bits here and there that he has feelings for her and I think she always hoped he would grow and change one day.

The only link Kourtney has to him is the kids. She seems to regret having kids with him coz she really cares for him but he is not going to change. She loves her kids but having a connection with Scott is the worst thing she can have when she wants to move on. She really wanted to move on back then but he keeps coming back like a puppy. I'm glad she moved on. It sucks that her family loves him and take his side when she suffered alot with his addiction.

Scott lost out on the love of his life for damn good reason at all. He had it all right there and still threw it all away and now is having issues with seeing Kourtney being happy with someone she’s told Scott how she wants to be all along! Scott is so clueless! He just didn’t care to change for her and now seeing her happy hurts him. Finally he is getting a taste of his own medicine and it’s painful as hell to swallow and that’s life of a fuckboy for you. So happy for Kourtney and Travis! It takes so long for a woman to move on like Kourt has and she finally deserves her happily ever after with Travis! You can tell Travis is a good and kind soul.
