I remember hearing in a teaching, that her six yogas were “better” or nicer or less harsh rather than the “”popular”” six yogas of naropa Which I always like and makes me giggle when I first heard it and every time I remember it The only thing is that the Shangpa Kagyu schools are very rare there’s very few or none centers to learn from... sadly
Niguma (Tib. ནི་གུ་མ་, Wyl. ni gu ma) (b. 10th century) - an Indian yogini who is said to be either the sister or consort of Naropa. After having reached the tenth bhumi and achieved rainbow body, she could directly receive teachings from Vajradhara. She transmitted her six yogas, the Six Yogas of Niguma to Khyungpo Naljor (founder the Shangpa Kagyü lineage).
@@mastersofbuddhism I wrote a comment on this suggesting Marpa Lotsawa as a lay person who attained enlightenment. I also then requested Guru Vajradhara His Holiness Tai Situpa who had previously been Marpa Lotsawa in a former life. My request/comment was deleted, I'm just wondering why🤔...No worries anyways, I appreciate your great videos so thank you. Karmapa Khyenno 🙏. Tai Situpa Khyenno 🙏.
@@Irish4746 Thank for this reminder. Yes, Marpa Lotsawa is a must! I just want to do it properly. I already started reading his biography. And Situpa - of course! But it will take some time, so please be patient...
Come and visit Niguma and Sukhasiddhis temple in lakhisarai district oh Bihar in India. Niguma is a Tibetan mis pronunciation of Netula. The latter means incomparable. Netula temple is in village Kumar which is mistaken for Kashmir. Next to the temple is Bardih which means land in flooded water. This is where the magic of water subsiding to reveal land took place. West of Kumar is Poha Khushiyalpur. Poha is raw crushed rice and Khushiyalpur has the same meaning as Sukhasiddhi. Khushiyalpur is the original word. Sukhasiddhi is a mis pronunciation of Sathsanda which means beautiful at the age of sixty so as to look only sixteen. The place where Sukhasiddhi sold beer is Matasi which is two km North of Poha Khushiyalpur from where she got thrown out of her home. Matasi means intoxicated or drunk. What more proof do you need.
The absolutely senseless and perpetual lie that attainment of understanding the true nature or Rigpa Tsel Wang is enlightenment is one of the strangest features of all western explorations of Dharma. It is absolutely explicit I’m all the manuals om the six yogas that the power of Nature of Mind or True Nature is applied as a energy of samadhi or concentration in various ways through various practices. It’s a Siddhi not the ultimate Siddhi which would be Svambhavikaya. Enlightened Mind is the easy on the Six Yogas is mostly for the hardest one which is enlightened Body.
