Just started watching your videos! Your videos are amazing, so informational, they are helping me so much! I live in Minnesota! I fish on lake Pulaski. Thanks for covering some of the lakes by me!
Fun to see you guys over in our area! My boys and I were just out on Winnie Monday the 5th and had a lot of fish in that 8’-12’ range off one of those points. Tons of fun for all. Then we returned Friday the 9th with not near as good of results but I never tried going in shallower than 6’-7’. Guess that was my mistake! Keep it up! My oldest boy and I love watching!
Welcome to "Windy-by-gosh", Glad you found em' seems you always do👍 The wind really fires them up on Winnie and Leech if you can take the rockin and rollin there's plenty of fish to be had
I have fished winnie the last 4 weekends and the bite has been the same every weekend. 5-10ft on rock/sand points. We caught them on everything. We also only caught 14-15" or 23"+ size fish. Wind was our friend because if it died down the fishing basically stopped.
Nice nice job ! Fishing those super windy days sucks. Definitely hard to keep the boat where you want it. But I like the recommendations of trolling with that jig. A nice slow speed and casting. Looks like you had good success. Looking forward to the next one.
You did it right, but look for the rainbow chubs at the bait shops early in the morning (they sell out fast). Only way to beat the wind is to trailer around the lake to get there.
Great video tom as always I am struggling in fall to catch walleye I can't keep them off hook in summer but can't find them in fall in southern Manitoba any help thanks
How would you fish a deep gravel pit with steep drop offs this time of year? 80 acres. 60 degree water temp right now. Some shallow weed areas, but thick weeds.
I see this pattern in Washington on some of our lakes and reseviors. I make long casts with 1/4 oz and 1/2 oz blade baits i make myself. Trick for me is to really aggressively rip them on the sand flats to mimic crippled bait fish. Alot of people say blade baits are a cold water bite but I have had tremendous success fishing them year round ( including in summer) both shallow and deep. Haven't seen a video of you doing much blade bait fishing. Was wondering what your experience has been with them in the Wisconsin area?
Actually fish them alotlike you fish the hyper rattles. Here most people think walleyes are always deep but from trying different things and watching your videos I have found that is not always the case. Keep up the good work.
Tom Boley Nice can’t wait just received my Piscifun Carbon 2000 in the mail last night and the St Croix pole you recommend. I was a dock hand on Leech for 5 years. I have a cabin up in the Park Rapids area.Ive learned a ton from your videos.
Try red lake next time when you're up in that area if you really like to see the wind blow on a lake!! Usually I always check the wind before I go to that lake!
Was planning on heading up to my parent's in Rapids tonight and hit up Winnie tomorrow morning, but now I'm sick and getting my brain poked tomorrow morning to see if I have the Wu-Flu, sucky!
I am the complete opposite. I respect when I see guys on a show throwing them back. When you fish multiple times a week, there's no need to always keep fish. Plus I think when people see fish being released, it promotes them doing the same.
Tom for president 2020
Always great information Tom Boley is the Man
Love the vids keep it up
Great content as usualYou really raised the bar on educational vids👍
Nothing wrong with this kind of format. We get to hear you break it down and can learn from that. Best of luck.
Thanks for another educational video!
Good learning video! Love it.

Looks like you were there the same weekend I was! the wind was intense, but the fishing was good!

Will you be adding 360 Mega imaging to aid in tracking moving pods?

I’m headed up in 2 weeks, will that still be relevant?
Hit Lake Pokegama on your way through Grand Rapids next time brother! Nothing but 24 to 34 inchers.
pulled spinners with a minnow right by that first spot you were at last week, did really well. they were just starting to show up in Cut Foot too.
Awesome super helpful videos!... You never talk about fishing fish in high forage waters?
The sea was angry that day my friends.
Did any of the walleye have a Titleist stuck in their gills? Lol
Would be cool if you hit up the whitefish chain definitely some nice size fish in there
So the last three minutes of this video you were on Leech?
Nope winnie.vwill post the vid from leech in the next few days

I’ve fished that exact shoreline
Getting that winter beard going...keep it up...try to pass the “itching” point and not cut it. Great video as usual.

Used to fish there all the time did well in cut foot sioux.
Winni, great lake. Gonna be great in a few years with all the 12"ers in there right now.

I'll go out shallow tonight.
Watched until I saw you released the walleyes. WTF!!

Great vid mate 😊👍
How about a Walleye hoodie that says “Picked Up”?
Yea. You should have some apparel to purchase.
