Western media only shows things like bombs poverty population pollution etc but besides all this I can say Bangladesh is a beautiful peaceful country& people here have so much respect & true love as a foreigner I can proudly say this from my experience.

I was a student through high school to University of Dhaka and moved to United States in the early 80's. I have always seen racial harmony in Bangladesh except few unfortunate incidents. We had Muslim, Hindu, Christian and Buddhist students in every schools and were never separated my region. We fought our liberation war together to see a secular Bangladesh.
Bangladesh is a muslim coutry It's called republic islamic bangladesh. Bangaldesh not like india and pakistan who told that there secular but in real life wrold know's that from tv or socal media platfrom
I am of Bangladeshi diaspora from the UK and it's crazy to see how diverse and fascinating my mother country is. Whilst, I am Muslim myself, this is the kind of culture that needs to be preserved and maintained; that way everyone can coexist in peace, regardless of ethnicity, creed, and religion. I hope you've already got the suggestions to go to Saint Martin's Island and Sajek - the two most beautiful places in Bangladesh. In Bandarban, the real beauty (which is breathtaking by the way) is hidden in the deep hilly areas. Some places are restricted even for us. However, if you could manage to get the permission to go to Remakri, then don't think twice to enjoy the adventurous journey of Thanchi to Remakri by boat through the Sangu river.

Religious harmony is the real beauty of Bangladesh. Though few Islamic activists with the patronization of some political parties tried several times to spoil this harmony. But present secular govt controlled them with strong commitment.
The number one priority is to have more people like you. Muslims (I assume) who want to protect the minority. Bangladesh is 90% Muslim, and too many are quiet when an Imam, Huzoor etc. says bad things about non-Muslims.

The drone shots were amazing 😊 The temple looked beautiful, very neat and tidy and respects to the priest for giving his time to talk about the temple and other stuff relating to his religion. If you want an open space where you can see the lunch greenery of Banderban then you have come to the right place of course there are other places like Sajak Valley etc. Gigi you were right in saying there are a lot of people because it’s very much a touristic place for visitors so it’s going to be somewhat very busy. Bandarban is one of my most favorite places!!!! There is a hilltop called 'Chimbuk'. Its secluded and you can usually touch the cloud from there. In rainy season, Chimbuk becomes a piece of heaven. Wish you both had seen that!!!
Bangladesh is an amazing cradle of natural beauty. Its just that these parts of Bangladesh don't get the exposure and the negatives are mostly portrayed. Yes we have a lot of work to do in regard to developing our tourism industry furthermore. Thank you for portraying Bangladesh in su h positive light. Would appreciate if you would also suggest areas where we could improve and make it better for the tourist who travel here.
I don't think I've ever seen any foreign travel vlogger on RUclips go to such lengths to truly immerse themselves in a country's cultures and interact with its people. I've loved how you've made an effort to experience it all- the good and the bad, the everyday life of those who are socio-economically fortunate and those not so, the majorities and the minorities, the big cities and the quaint villages- and shared these videos for the world to see as well. 6:17 Bangladesh may have a Muslim-majority population but it is a constitutionally secular country❤ Hopefully there will always be ethnic and religious harmony here. I've visited the Buddha Dhatu Jadi (Golden Temple) before, absolutely loved listening to the priest talk about Dhatu and attaining Buddhi (Enlightenment). Needless to say, I loved the place and the people. Thank you so much for letting me revisit this place, albeit vicariously😭💖

Wow u got permission to visit BANDARBAN. Basically in hill parts in Bangladesh are totally unrest and nobody knows when few of the group start chaos. Tribal ppl don't welcome guys from others side of the country coz they have different culture and living style. But the time changing and they became more friends and welcome tourist from different places as well as foreigner like u. Enjoy and have fun ppl are amazing and the beauty of the BANDARBAN will exist in ur memories for sure.

You should definitely visit the tribal areas of Chittagong Hill Tracks. Trust me you will understand we are not only one kind of culture. There are many cultures combined together in our country. And Thank you for visiting my country. We wish other foreign travelers definitely visit Bangladesh.
By the way, if you crave for alcohol and wanna try a local version, it's probably quite easily available in Bandarban. The local non-muslim ethnic population (mostly 'Marma') make and drink a kind of rice-wine called "Dochoyani" as part of their culture (they also eat pork and raise pigs, which Muslims don't). If you can make friends with any of them, you may get a peek inside their lifestyle too.

By the way, if you crave for alcohol and wanna try a local version, it's probably quite easily available in Bandarban. The local non-muslim ethnic population (mostly 'Marma') make and drink a kind of rice-wine called "Dochoyani" as part of their culture (they also eat pork and raise pigs, which Muslims don't). If you can make friends with any of them, you may get a peek inside their lifestyle too.
