It'll be fun to see Jo on another competitive bike, gunning for a championship. That's interesting that he hasn't decided on exclusively continuing to train with Nick Wey or joining up with the Lawrence camp. I'm sure he'd prefer to stay close to his family, but it does seem like there will be some pressure on him to glean technique from Florida, especially if he's not winning early on. Since Hymas will be there too, he'll be the odd man out if he stays on the West Coast

There’s always so much hype about Star Yamaha but the boys at Honda are definitely the most dialed factory bikes - my opinion of course and I’m not taking anything away from star because there 250s are obviously explosive but so are the riders on there bikes . I think Jo made a great decision moving to Honda especially being surrounded and practicing with two champions that are good friends
Doesn’t matter who your favorite rider is, everyone loves Jo and wants him to win at some point. I’m assuming he’ll be riding west coast, and this could definitely be his year.
If you look at the last 4 races(final ama motocross round, and the 3 smx races.) its clear that jo shimoda is faster. So it doesn't matter what coast deegan is on. Those last 4 races jo was also faster than hunter lawrence too. Copy paste a$$

Blaming bike or brand is cop out for low results for years . Just cuz Honda has Jett nHunter as 250 champs and now 450 , doesn’t mean Jo will be next super star at Honda . It’s not the 80s at Honda any longer

A few good results at end of last season didn’t make him RC4 all of a sudden. He has been on great equipment at PC, Why will Honda make him better ??
