- An English teacher shows different ways to use "would you mind" when asking for a favor or asking for permission to do something.
Check out my new website, www.englishfortheplanet.com if you need to go back to the basics in English. I will put this video on that website and create a lesson for it.

Sir would you mind , if you explain about " if you don't mind " or " I hope you don't mind " just briefly please?
Thanks a lot 🤗
Thank you many
I answered her what(?) " No, I wouldn't." when she asked me first time...And after, same answer again...Again...After a lot of years, she wanted to ask me as usual:
"Would you mind..."
"Yes", I said...She was shocked!..At that moment, I had gotten back my life...She was "femme fatale"...I had noticed it, so late!
❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you.
Thank you. Can you please also say which words are stressed in these your sentences? (Would you mind opening the window? Would you mind if I opened the window). Thank you
thank you!!!
Would you mind if I turned up the heat?
In my opinion, the simple past tense (turned up) in the if-clause matches the simple past tense in the main clause (would).
hello, could you please explain the differences between angry and (nervous, angry) ,(mad, crazy) with example , thank you very much
Would you mind if I closED tve window ?.
- I suppose this is kind of a subjunctive, that's why the verb "close" is in the past tense, right Paul ?.
- In spanish we say:
- ¿ Le importaría si yo CERRARA la ventana ?.
= Would you mind If I CLOSED the window ?.
Present tense:
-Do you mind if I close the window ?.
= ¿ Te importa si yo CIERRO ka ventana ?.
In portuguese,we say: "Você se importaria se eu fechasse a janela?"
Present tense:
-Você se importa se eu fechar a janela?
Hi there👋, which one is prefered by people? Do you mind or Would you mind? and in addition Can we also say would you mind ıf I turnd(ed) on the heat instead of Turn up? Thanks for the enjoyable lesson. If you come to Turkiye one day. We host you with my family
And what is the possible answer?
Yes, I would! I would prefer to put on a jacket and keep the window opened.
Is it correct?
😊😊😊😊sir please may you explain to that would you mind
Would you mind not doing that ? What's the part of speech of not doing ? Is it a negative gerund?
Do we have to use past tense ?? Can we also use the present , right?
...the past tense

Teacher, why don't you say hello and bye to us? I like your classes, though.
I assume it's to save our time. He has been teaching people for many years/decades, and he does incredibly effective work
