Make sure to go early and allow at least 3 hours to enjoy the whole aquarium
I am so exited we’re going this Saturday it’s 2 hours and 30 minutes away so I’ll be stuck in the car a while but not to much I can’t wait!

Pretty good, yeah. No where close, to bettering my Monterey Bay Aquarium! I miss that place every day.
I googled it and it appears Monterey Bay also came up as one of the best so I need to visit and do a walkthrough video too to compare lol
had the chance to go there as part of a band trip this year... then corona happened :( more bummed about missing this than six flags

Thanks for watching. We had a great time at the Georgia Aquarium. The St.Louis Aquarium recently opened but it was too crowded to go but expect a future walkthrough for the Christmas break of 2020.
I went there last summer and it was amazing, untill it rained....

You're going to have lots of fun, just make sure to go early because you will need at least half a day to enjoy everything. I have yet to visit the new Aquarium that opened up in St.Louis so expect a future tour soon.

Our friends had planned a trip and didnt realize that we needed reservations so we missed it and on the way home this gave my girlfriend the opportunity to watch what we went there for
I guess with the pandemic, they don't want a large crowd. If you ever go back, it's a definite must see.

This is my dream job. I want to live,work and go to college Georgia. I love marine biology i just now in middle school but, I want to work with the belugas, southern sea otter, the sea lions, or the dolphins.
Study hard and you will have a bright future ahead of you. The world needs more marine biologist to care for the sea and its inhabitants.

I used to be so against these sort of places but when u see the state of the earth's oceans and how much sea life is suffering then I'm inclined to agree with this concept
Yeah, that is a gray area but I guess I'm leaning on freedom over confined living. Sure it's sad to see animals in zoos but there is also the learning that we as humans can benefit from.

@@Jay_Rule a hammerhead favorite food is a Stingrays. They ate a ray infront of visitors. Cant have a large tank with all those fish and have them start eating each other. XD

13:14 that is a MANTA Ray. Completely different species than the smaller ADULT stingray. Manta rays are FILTER feeders. Their mouth flaps help to direct plankton and krill into their mouths. Stingrays are BOTTOM feeders and will eat small crustaceans from the sand.

I like to spout random facts about nature, space, animals, etc. They said stingray, which was wrong. I feel mantas should respected as their own unique species as they are endangered. What if manta rays went extinct? The ecosystem would collapse and our children would never see the majesty that is the manta.

Did you get the hammerhead shark and the sand tiger shark
They are not there right now but in 2020 they hope to open up a new expansion which will have several new shark thanks. Including tiger sharks, sand tiger sharks, hammerhead sharks, silver tip sharks, and sand bar sharks. Probably will be more but that’s all they have released for now.

Today any sharks & other unique or endangered fish, marine mammals, cephalopods, etc... living in aquariums like this one are very lucky, since their lives aren't worth anything in our oceans. The Asians want to eat them so they're paying to have our oceans & seas fished out especially of critical species to the survival of life as we know it on this planet, namely the essential sharks for their fins to make a tasteless soup of primarily cartilage used as a status symbol in their society.. Any shark lucky enough to live in a large, clean, well run aquarium is a very lucky shark today. We need more of them so we can save species that will soon be decimated by overfishing & poaching by primarily the asian but, some other selfish, irresponsible fishermen too in every ocean & sea all over the world.
Changes must be made. Countries must be held accountable for the devistation their law breaking citizens are causing in the world for the rest of us!!!.
Julia McDonald-Carberry As a wise man once said, I do not know you. You could be anyone. You could be an angel. I have no way of knowing. Everything I will write here will come from a place of love. I’m sure it was unintentional, but by vaguely stating Asians are decimating our oceans you contributed to racism. If you want to specifically state the law that should be changed and state the countries that allow the practices you find distasteful (for the record I wholeheartedly agree our oceans should be protected, also look into how America and other countries’ trash is affecting the ocean) that is one thing; to (hopefully unintentionally) insinuate that the continent of Asia(remembering that it is large and diverse) cares not for the health of the ocean actually contributes to anti-Asian racism, stereotypes, and violence. A simple google search shows the famous Sea Shepard calling for European countries to stop shark finning. They say Europe is a major player. Our oceans are facing multiple threats from multiple sources. I recently read a disturbing report on “plastic rain”. There is so much micro plastic in our rivers, and ocean that it actually rains plastic particles, further escalating the problem. Protect our ocean at all cost. Please don’t single out one continent. Once again, it’s all love. Hope all is well. If it isn’t, I truly hope things either get better or if that’s not really possible, I wish you peace.

Joshua not always true, but i get where you're coming from. While some animals can't tell the difference, studies have proven others go into a depression state of not being in the open waters if they aren't born into it at least and can die from the depression itself.
Just think how sad life would be if we never saw these creatures and the wild isn't exactly a safe place they are probably more safe here
