Thankyou so much, as always. A great finger exercise to help with coordination . I really appreciate the work behind the scenes to run Fingerstyle Five and Fretboard Confidential and present these invaluable tutorials. 😊❤
You're right, I'm going to have to take it easy on these 73 yo fingers for this exercise. this little ditty is almost as hard as counter motion finger work. Thanks for the thoughts.
I was taught this many years ago by my classical teacher Dr Stephen Snook in Sydney, he also emphasized the importance of hitting both notes exactly simultaneously all the way through. He could tell if i was off by a millisecond! :) great exercise!

I remember doing this when I was learning “Classical Guitar”. Had to do this up the neck.
...way beyond my patience and devotion - good on ya !

...it seems like this exercise with separated picking would be a good timing work out as well eh ?
Good one!
Yep, leart this in 1959 via a classical teacher named Sophocles Papas at the Guitar Shop in DC
Love it😅
Dang. Ouch.
👍NICE
Er. I need more fingers
... too bad we can't talk to Jango about that !?
Seems like calling out the note names would help us there as well... At least maybe the whole notes (AKA not sharps or flats)
...I hear ya. Anything that helps get the notes and the frets in your head.
