Your story is inspiring! That big shark is vegetarian, so it looks very friendly! Any movie channel should add this video at the beginning of that movie! The ocean in Maldives is really beautiful, thank you very much for sharing! 👍🤩🙏
Thank you brother 🙏😀. Ohh nature is the place I feel most at home without a doubt, but when it comes to the fear... 😅 I still have it but now at least I will get into the water even if I'm afraid 😁
Oh man this has given me a bit of food for thought. I have a similar fear except mine is the fear of drowning or losing control in deep water because of a near death experience in Nepal a few years ago. Slowly I am getting more confidence in deep water but I would love to do something like this to really push the boundaries and fight the fear. Thanks for this and well done on your encounter with these amazing creatures, it must have been mind blowing

I recently came across your channel, enjoying it and subscribed. Fear of fear is dangerous. Seeking out discomfort is the solution. ;-) Great work, looking forward to following your trip(s).
I also have a fear for swimming in open ocean, but that's more due to sharks like the great white, bullsharks, blue sharks, mako's and tigersharks. But when I would get the opportunity to swim with whale sharks, I would be trilled! Most sharks are so much more gentle than their reputation makes them to be seen. But you guys are badass and I love your videos, allthough I get sweaty palms from fear of hights when I see you guys near great hights in mountainous areas (trolls tongue for example).
@@WildVikingTravels Yeah looks like a lifetime experience. I was in Mathiveri a Feridhoo, planning Fulhadhoo and Maalhos next year but in the winter and that's not a season for whalesharks :( Hopefully I will get to Dhigurah one day, truly amazing. Congrats, I am so jealous!!! Enjoy the stay there.
My GOD.Same experience here.I saw Jaws in Cuba when i was like 9 years.I was traumatized, specially with the boy in the yellow float who was killed. That film was so iconic.I have been able to get over my fear with the years but i belive this film is really hard to watch if you are a kid.Definetely.In other things,,,did you see those beaches in the caribean/?.If you go to my country, Cuba,,,,oh God.Paradise.Unfortunatelly , we have to leave the island because of communism but i allways miss the beaches there. The best.
I have swum in open water around the world and it amazes me that the one animal that attacks and kills thousands of people around the world every year is considered a 'friend'. The dog.
@@WildVikingTravels Though, being the sick person I am I kept thinking what would it be like to see a shark bite off one of Joe's nice long legs. I know, I need help.

Yes, this is the world's biggest shark. Also the world's biggest fish in general as well (as whales are not fish but mammals) 😁
👍🏊🦈👏😍
Thumbnail is a Whale Shark - they don't eat humans. 😐
That is a whale shark, yes :)
