Thanks for your fidelity to the truth. Have seen you in person several times & you made a lasting impression. Am going through a situation right now with my brother who is very ill & near death. He's been away from the Church for a long time but was able to get him anointed this morning. Feeling such peace and joy about this & I know all of Heaven is rejoicing with me! Thanks.

Dr. John should have mentioned Purgatory in that, Purgatory is the place where all those who repented on their deathbed can “catch up” so to speak to all the ones who made sacrifices for Christ while on Earth. While lifelong Christians earned graces to remove the stain of sin in order to be purified, on Earth, requiring little or no time in Purgatory; so too, these souls who repented on their deathbed, in Purgatory will be fully cleansed in another way, as through “fire”, cleansed, and given full grace, in order to equally enjoy the beatific vision. Dr. John said, "those of us that freely give ourselves our entire lives will never regret the deeper intimacy that we are going to be able to have with god". Is it not that we all will experience a close relationship and intimacy with God, it’s just that some will have to spend time in Purgartory in the “refiner’s fire” to be purified sufficiently before being presented in Heaven.
Maybe, unfortunately, we do not know much abt Purgatory. We do not have verses that describe the condition of the Purgatory. What you have stated may be true but it is based on human logic (which I hope it would be true).
