I totally had this video done within 48 hours of it being possible to do so. I gotta toot my own horn sometimes.
Lola was never Bug’s girlfriend... He just hit on her, and she basically told him not too. (“Don’t ever call me doll!”) Lol, guys are delusional! 😅😂🤣
If you want to know just how delusional... I think they did try to make Lola Bug’s simp in the TV Show... Which seems so forced and unnecessary. It’s weird that audiences and animators are so intimidated by Lola’s sexuality; as well as her combination of looks, skill, and personality that they keep having to change her. Although Lola is a cartoon rabbit and not a real person... It actually says more about how certain women are viewed by society, than anything else. Instead of confronting the “Bimbo” archetype as being harmfully untrue, they keep trying to change “Bimbo” characters (characters that are looked at as being Bimbos, whether it’s Lola, or Lara Croft, or the the Green M&M) into being something else, entirely. Which actually reinforces negative ideas about women, and negative attitudes towards them.
I actually love that the original Lola was voiced by Kathy Sourcie, who is known for voicing traditionally sexy characters. I wish the media would just let sexy characters be sexy, if that’s their thing. That was obviously never Lola’s only thing, because her main attribute was being disarmingly good at basketball. Why try to turn her into a “badass” character, when she was already a badass? Just one that wasn’t afraid of her femininity?
I swear that there’s more hatred towards women now, than ever, and it’s because of the way disfavor, disdain, and hatred towards traditionally feminine women and characters has been normalized by the mainstream media.
I know that the hatred is SUPPOSED to be aimed at the men who design them... (out of their own perverted sexual fantasies) but instead has been aimed at the characters, themselves, which is so problematic it’s worse than the original “problem.”
Honestly, if an male animator wants to draw a sexy girl, or a sexy rabbit, that seems way more innocent than the hate that is often launched at these characters, that is sometimes disguised as “feminism” or “inclusivity,” when their message is really that traditionally feminine women or characters deserve to be excluded. That message hurts women a lot more than just designing and/or showcasing a female character with an unrealistic waist or bust size.
All said, the redesign isn’t that terrible... She’s still cute and reads as female/feminine... But the reasons behind the redesign are.

What I appreciate about this Lola is the subtle implication that she has a soft spot for kids. The second Lebron drops the fact that his son is in danger, she immediately turns back from a goal she has been training literal years for and chooses to offer her services. She continues to be very concerned with Lebron’s son, reassuring his father that they will reunite them, and when the son finally reconciles with his dad, she says something along the lines of “nice to finally meet you,” which was a pretty unique line against everyone else’s at the time. She clearly has a love for children and when you think about it, it makes total sense. She’s a cartoon character and cartoons are usually, though not always, directed at children. Her entire existence is based on entertaining kids and making them happy, and I think that’s a really cool and heartwarming facet to her character.

Agreed, but I really wish Lola was voiced by Kath Soucie, and I don't care if her performance in the original was too sexy, she was the original and the best, just like how Sean Connery was the original and still the best James Bond! Sorry I just don't like how they let Kath go for no reason.
By design, the OG Lola will still remain as my favorite. But man, I have to admit, I like this Lola more in terms of personality. I thought Zendaya did a good job portraying her even tho I'd prefer Kath Soucie. Since, this is indeed a canon to the first movie, I think Lola changed her personality drastically when she resided in Themiscyra. But, she still has that bit of personality from the OG Lola especially on the court.

I like new Lola, less about the beauty, more about the skills
She's literally just as curvy as her first design except her back isn't arched the entire time. There are plenty of scenes where her back is arched here and you see she has a very similar silhouette. She cute~

The new Lola is fine but is aesthetically unappealing. She has more scene time than her OG counterpart, which is nice. Her personality in A New Legacy is a water-down version of the first Space Jam. The only improvements made for her character are her outfit and her interactions with the other toons.

One of the differences between space jam and space jam a new legacy.
Is that from the first original some of the elements are from outer space, but on the second one almost all the elements are basically about cyberspace.
The first space jam movie had outer space, and the second space jam movie has cyberspace. So no wonder they call it space jam a new generation, it's because the producers thought it would be really cool if it would take place at some point in cyberspace. In the world of cyberspace that is.
And it's kind of funny Ralph breaks the internet sort of takes place in the same territory as well, because even though we all know it takes place in the world of the internet. The truth is is that people attend to forget that the whole animated World of the internet is actually cyberspace, and basically that was like the original format of the internet. And video games at the same time.
Cyberspace was the name that came about, I believe when video games first came out and then later the internet. So nowadays people attend to forget about the word or the name cyberspace, because mainly they would just say the internet and they would say video games. But all together, when you combine these two together it's all part of the world and the invention of cyberspace
“Cyberspace” is one of billions of words I never forget.
there's parts she looked great other times like wtf the consistency was thrown off. I think the best she looked was in the Wonder Woman comic book world portion that sh*t was sick. Im glad she and Bugs dont have a romantic sub plot they always felt like friends to me in these movies. You noticed we never seen them as a actual couple until the looney tunes show. Either than that there's been nothing that properly showcase them as one.

I always loved Lola bunny ‘n As a kid I never once saw her as a ‘sexy n a dumb blond hair’ character just like my favorite fictional model Barbie. I was also happy that WB’s finally added a female looney tunes character (I really didn’t like petunia or honey Bug’s former girlfriend) in the 2nd film, I think WBs changed Lola into a more serious character is probably inspired by Pixar changes on Toy Story: Bo Peep (whom happens to be my favorite Pixar female character) I’m really excited that Lola will be in the Tiny Toons Looniveristy (2022) as Babs bunny’s mentor but as Bugs bunny’s girlfriend… nothing maybe just friends since there’s nothing of them continuing their romantic relationship.

I always saw it as Lola being the first tune who could get under Bugs skin and make him feel off balance. He’s usually always cool, calm and collected, always trolling everyone because that’s his humor. But Lola walks in and automatically Bugs has met his match with someone who can go toe to toe with him. That’s why they complemented each other (keep in mind that Bugs had been around a long time by the time the first movie came out so to have a fresh character challenge bugs and come out on top and for them to be so widely liked was a miracle)

Walt Disney said "If you can dream it, you can do it, and don't let anybody say you can't". This is my biggest dream goal of bringing the 2-D animated style from Disney once again and I'll be a movie director as well.

There's no magic or inspiration anymore 😢, seems to be all be political and personal agendas and corporate profit. I've noticed that most movies scores sounds very generic with "NO" heart or emotions. I really want to bringing the back those types of movies that I grew up with ever since I was toddler and younger ages in 2000s era with more "Absolutely Magical", "Storytelling" and "Scope". Even more "Heart and Emotion".

I like it when the looney tunes transform from 2D animation to 3D animation so they can battle Al-G Rhythm and the Goon Squad. I also want to make a live action/animated movie in the same style of Who Framed Roger Rabbit and Space Jam
Here are my thoughts. Her design, it's alright and I especially did like her transformation. Yet I can't help that she just blends in with the others. How she looked in the first film was pretty good. She shows that she's a pretty face but she knows how to play. How they physically designed her in the original was great work, in the new film I thought she was in the crowd. Her character, she was still strong, skilled and great with others especially LeBron. But I think they focus too much of that tough girl act. She had that sass, that feminine charm, and knows how to be looney too (I was let down when no one said "doll," that's when her looney side showed). And how she didn't want to play basketball anymore, what is up with that? Her relationship with Bugs, I going to say it, I am an old soul who loves romance. I was confused and frustrated why they weren't "together, together." Where was the fall out? Was it him? Was it her? Are they still a thing (they can be confusing as Kermit and Miss Piggy)? No, the writers didn't have to make it part of the plot, but if fans know they had something, then it could have been shown better. Lola was a favorite of mine, she shown you can be a lady with a bit of strength. But we are in the new era, girls only want the strengh.

Yeah, I saw this movie tonight and it was much better than I thought it would be. Obviously, the first film was part of my childhood because my brother liked it, but we all know how pathetic the execution for that one turned out! Having LeBron James be animated too made much more sense in my book, and Lola’s character was treated much better here! Also I apologize for asking for those two characters. I'd make one inspired by an old anime/manga called Inuyasha about Gossamer and Taz as samurai brothers.

Looney Tunes Show gave her a great cartoon personality, an ADHD clutz, it was done to counter off a regular Bugs bunny who wasn't fighting against villains anymore due to the tone of the show, Bugs was the plain guy but everyone around him was cartoony which made the show, if Bugs was also too cartoony, the show wouldn't work that well, it needed a person to react to all the craziness around him

I used to watch the shit out of looney toons and even had a disk because I loved it so much as a kid
At first I didn't like what they did to Lola's design. And now...I still don't like it. But now I have two more reasons to not like this movie. The second (and most disappointing) thing would be that there isn't any chemistry or relationship between Lola and Bugs: no hugging, no complimenting, no encouraging, and no kissing. And why was Lola hogging most the inspirational speeches? Why not give LeBron and Bugs a few chances?
And third, I didn't like Zendaya as Lola's voice. I have nothing against her, and think she's a good actress. But I just couldn't see her as Lola. I really believe they should have stick with Kath Soucie.

Bruh Lola did not shed one year for Bugs. The My Little Pony Movie had more tears than this!! Twilight cried her eyes out and none of her friends were dying!!
I'm very happy with the changes to Lola in design and personality. The oversexualizing of Lola was weird, because it's a kids movie, plus her character was really just reduced to "she's hot and she's good at basketball." I don't have a problem with sexy characters but it was really reductive for Lola, and just didn't belong in a children's movie. She has a lot more substance to her when she isn't just eye candy to be ogled at.

Yes, I saw this film. My thoughts are that it was bloated, and the 3D overstayed its welcome.
What is there to hate about Lola bunny guys? She’s a skilled basketball player! But nonetheless she’s beautiful and absolutely awesome no? Can’t argue here, she’s definitely a skilled and cute bunny for me to see! Definitely not gonna say doll! She’s a wonderful hero!
